Dr. Sreekumar my have saved my life or kept me from major surgery sometime in the future. I had been under cardio care for 8 years having stints put in for 2 arteries blocked 95 percent. I had excellent care and tracking with Dr. George over those years. Dr. George left so I had to select another heart doctor. I choose Dr. Sreekumar. Here is where my life changed. On my first visit after reviewing my history Dr. Sreekumar scheduled an ultra sound to get a better idea of my current condition. It showed an enlarged aorta that can be managed, but he wanted a better look at it so he ordered a CT scan and bingo that showed a small 1.2 mg spot on my left lung upper lobe. That called for a pet scan that showed cancer. I had surgery to remove it and am doing great. Thankfully it was stage 1 and it didn't have a chance to become a much greater problem. Bottom line is Dr Sreekumar with me as a new patient didn't "say your chart looks pretty good see you in 6 months." He wanted to know more.
