Communication, compassion and empathy are a few of the top traits that this skilled, but humble, surgeon exhibits as he practices his craft. Always had time to listen and give feedback in a totally non judgmental way. Does both telehealth and in-person visits with the class and style of an old school, gentlemanly doctor. If you want to be rushed out the door or only be given halve truths, seek an HMO type paper pusher. If you want a skilled surgeon who actually cares about individual patients, I could not give Dr. Bijan Salari any HIGHER RECOMMENDATION than this: Great Human Being and Highly Skilled Doctor and Surgeon.

Dr Salari is exceptional, kind and extremely focused. My husband needed surgery and Dr Salari took the time to answer and explain every detail fully. When someone looks you in the eye while talking to you and makes sure you are satisfied with the information and all your questions are answered you know you have the right Doctor. After my husband’s surgery, Dr Salari called me and explained everything to my understanding and took the time to make sure all my concerns and questions were addressed. While in the area for vacation I needed to continue my induction therapy. Dr. Salari continued the therapy for me and was outstanding. First, in his proactive effort to explain to me the immediate treatment and longer term process and considerations, and secondly with his skill in administering the treatment. His skill and concern was notably better that what I had been receiving at a major brand name medical center for the same treatment.

I recently had my prostate removed robotically. Dr Salari met with my wife and I one month before surgery and spent an hour with us explaining in details the treatment options and answering our questions. He was very down to earth and kind. My surgery went well but what impressed me most was the phone call he made to me the day before my surgery to go over everything and answer my last minute questions. I had never had any surgery in my 64 years so he was very comforting. I trusted him completely The surgery went well and after a night in the hospital I was discharged cancer free. Dr salari and the entire team at Greater Boston Urology we’re terrific and I can’t thank him at the staff in Hyannis and Falmouth enough. I highly recommend Dr Salari

My friend went in for surgery and had a terrible experience with Dr. Salari. He was incredibly dismissive and tried to argue with her about the need of the surgery. He wrote her off and had terrible follow-up. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Excellent communication, great bedside manner and thorough explanations. I highly recommend Dr. Salari. He was a pleasure to meet and my 15 year old daughter was completely comfortable, at ease and commented on the ride home how much she liked him and his care. We have seen quite a few doctors recently, so that is a definite compliment.
