Dr Kim has been my family's physician for 28+ years and I can't imagine our lives without him. He's not only an excellent physician at this point we consider him family. He always goes above and beyond the call for us he also follows up after services as well as. I don't exaggerate when I say he has saved my father's life on more than one occasion. I am extremely thankful for his services and I highly recommend him for others seeking his services.

Bill Kim is very professional and knowledgeable. Seldom have I had a doctor sit down with me and explain to me what was wrong and what I can do to improve my wellness. Most doctors will just write prescriptiins and send you off, but Dr. Kim takes the time to make sure his patients are well so that they don't have to come back and see him.

I had seen several G.I.’s before visiting Dr. Kim and none of them fixed my issues but Dr. Kim correctly diagnosed and treated my condition which has really improved my life. He was extremely professional, and really took the time to make me feel like i was his only or most important patient of the day. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr Kim is outstanding! His knowledge is exceptional, he's thorough, weighs cost/benefits of treatments/tests with great consideration and communicates those clearly, always follows up, takes time with patients, is compassionate, proactive, and never condescending. He came in when my husband had a chunk of meat caught in his esophagus and personally pushed through for insurance approval. He diagnosed my husband's 20 yr swallowing problem and worked to resolve it. We've referred many to him!

Dr Kim is very knowledgeable, patient and thorough in his explanations of the conditions. I have been in his office since 2013 and he did my endoscopy. I did not hesitate going back to him in 2017 when I started having recurring gastric problems. I totally recommend him for GI issues. Thanks Dr. Kim and thanks to your staff.

While Dr. Kim is very knowledgeable, it seems, on performing endoscopies and colonoscopies, his follow-up care is very poor. After my procedures, getting in to see him and get treatment for my conditions was nearly impossible. The amount of sensitivity given to patients dealing with gastrointestinal issues is poor, as well. I realize that there is probably a lot more $ to be made from performing the procedures of a gastroenterologist than the follow up office visits, but this is ridiculous!

About Me

care philosophy

I spend enough time, sitting down with my patients to understand all of the issues related to their health.  Although patients see me for a gastroenterology consult, I often find other issues affecting their health and either address them or refer them to the proper specialists.

biography

I grew up in Muscatine, Iowa and I have kept a small town perspective and lessons I learned from the physicians who cared for my  family and me when I was growing up.  I have won awards in Medical School, during my residency and am a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
