Eternally grateful
Dr Rimal was one of several ER docs and nurses who treated my son after sudden cardiac death. We got him back after a prolonged resuscitation and induced coma. Dr Rimal had the right touch with us and was amazing. We will never forget his efforts and judgment. When the chips are down, I’d take him on my team any day.

No connection at all
Dr. Rimal seemed to be robotic, just asked a set of questions, listened to the answers my husband gave and then didn't address any of those answers. Just seemed uninterested at all. He made several assumptions on his own. He barely listened to David's heart. Didn't rush really, he just appeared to be disinterested. We will find another lung doctor.

Has little respect for well-informed patients
Rimal doesn't seem to respect patients who are well-informed about their medical conditions and who have researched medications and side-effects, using information from university hospital studies and from publications like the New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet

Dr. Rimal has been my pulmonologist for the past 9 years. He has helped to make me feel like life is still worth living, giving me confidence and making it possible for me to breathe easier knowing that I can rely on him to spot problems that other doctors have failed to recognize, so they can be dealt with appropriately. I highly recommend Dr. Rimal to anyone who may be in need of a highly qualified doctor that they can trust to help lead them back to good health. I was born with a heart murmur that doctors always seemed to notice, but they never told me I should have it checked until Dr. Rimal referred me to a heart specialist to have an echocardiogram to be sure it wasn't serious. Turned out it was, and my aortic valve is too tight and needs to be repaired, so for the first time in my life (after 74 years) I won't go around feeling dizzy or light-headed and short of breath. Thank you Dr. Rimal!
