Scam. Assigned to me as my Primary care. Does not answer their phone. Do not use this Doctor.

I am very disappointed in this practice. My experience was that I was changing primary care providers after being released from the hospital. I needed to see my new primary to get a referral to a wound care specialist, and it is urgent need. My insurance company listed Dr. Singhal as accepting new patients and they recommended her. I did my research on the internet and came upon several websites that also said that she accepts new patients. I selected her with the insurance company and they began the process of switching my primary care provider to her. Once the process was complete, I called her office to schedule the appointment, and the receptionist informed me that they are not accepting new patients. Not only that, this receptionist was very unprofessional and rude about it, looking for every excuse why they have not updated their information on the internet, and with a very snotty attitude. Dr. Singhal, you need to replace her, and update your info on the internet.

Been waiting for almost a week for his staff to check if my insurance covers a visit, which it does. I got a message from the receptionist telling that they got verification from the insurance company that I am covered and that I should call to schedule an appointment. I called right now and she simply said that they are not accepting new patients without even checking my name or asking any questions. The AETNA system let me add him as primary care doctor for a reason.
