Caring, Compassionate, and Smart
I started treatment with Dr. Dinh after my old psychiatrist retired. I had been on risperidone since 1995. I have had sexual dysfunction since a few years after starting this med in 1995. During my intake, Dr. Dinh alertly noted the med I was on and ordered a Prolactin blood test. High Prolactin levels contribute to sexual dysfunction in men, obesity, and diabetes, all problems I have struggled with for years. The blood test came back extremely elevated. He switched my med to aripiprazole, and lo and behold, the Prolactin level normalized. My GP ordered a Total Testosterone blood test recently. My Total Testosterone has ranged between 105 and 162 since 2018. In addition to the Prolactin normalizing, now my Total Testosterone has normalized at 329 as well, a result of coming off risperidone. I am so grateful that I now have hope of restoring sexual relations with my wife after 25 years. Dr. Dinh is caring, compassionate, and smart!

Best Psychiatrist
Dr. Dinh is an empathetic, caring, and active listening psychiatrist. I am relieved after many years of seeking behavioral health providers I had met him. I have previous employment experience with psychiatrists as well and Dr. Dinh is beyond excellent. I have not met a more down to earth Provider. I highly recommend him to ANYONE seeking mental health psychiatric care. He takes his time and does not rush you. He is easy to laugh with making him more human than most psychs. He offers full support and insight while taking into consideration how I feel about all of it. I feel in control of my care with him and truly believe he is one of a kind. It may also be good to note that most people who seek controlled substances and do not get exactly what they want in medical care usually have very poor opinions of their clinicians and would then be best suited being evaluated by another psych who is not as smart and as intellectual as Dr. Dinh.

Doesn't care for patients health at all, warning
I recommend going to anyone but this Dr. as he will go behind your back to write negative things in your Medical Notes and kick you out of the entire practice if you have side effects to the uncontrolled medicine he wants to force on you. Even if you only have one 15 minute visit, the Dr. will still try to make you feel bad for talking to them. It was common for this Dr. to tell me I was "going over my time and wasting other patients time" when I was only 10 minutes into my appointment. If the medicine they prescribe you doesn't work, the Dr. will try to make you feel bad for this. The Dr. only cares about his statistics it seems, and really doesn't care what the patient thinks or how their life is effected. This Dr. doesn't care about your health, hapiness, or wellbeing. All that matters to them is their stats. Please do yourself a favor and find someone who actually cares.

Never had a worse experience with a doctor
Very poor experience. Bad doctor who only cares about his stats and not your health. Refuses to trust you and if the medicine he wants you on doesn't work or had poor side effects he will not only kick you out of the entire practice but write negative things in your medical notes and wish negativity on your life. Please go to anyone but this terrible person. You can trust me here.

Dr. Dinh suggested the perfect therapist within his practice for me. He and I have check ins every 3 months. When my husband and I started thinking about starting a family, Dr. Dinh walked me through going off medication. Once pregnant, he ensured I was managing off my meds and we discussed what options would come if I have postpartum after delivery. He is gentle, calm and reassuring always. So grateful I found this practice.

My family is so glad that Dr. moved to the county 3 years ago. He practices medicine with compassion, medical skill, and takes time to listen. The area needed more psychiatrists and now we have an excellent addition. As a bonus he is on time 99% of the time.
