Dr. Blake Hildahl, MD

Dr Hildahl provided care for 2 of my children who had broken bones in their arms. He did an excellent job with their surgeries and left minimal scarring. He was always willing to talk with with us and answer any questions or concerns. We felt his genuine concern for our children.

Our initial contact with Dr Hildahl was a phone call from him after my husband accidentally ran two fingers through a router table. We visited our local ER who then referred us to Dr Hildahl. We consider that to be our lucky day because he not only saved those two fingers through his excellent surgical skills and awesome follow up care over the following months, but he treated us both with the upmost respect and care throughout. That first day phone call regarding a surgery appt for following day at 6 am was so impressive that my husband said upon hanging up, “I really like that doctor. I just know he is a good person by the way he talked to me. He was very concerned and reassuring.” That proved to be true and we trust and respect him more than we can say. We do not hesitate recommending him to anyone we can. He is the best!! Also just a good human being.

I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands. Dr. Hildahl & his team were great. He gave realistic expectations on recovery time, both he and a nurse would call the day after surgery to follow up as well. Dr. Hildahl is very personable too! I am glad I had him as a surgeon and would recommend him to anyone.

I fell and broke my arm while hiking. Due to the severity of the break, I needed surgery. I saw Dr. Hildahl on a Thursday and first thing Monday morning I was in surgery. I had no complications. During all follow-ups, Dr. Hildahl, always took time to answer my questions. He never rushed my appointments. He is friendly and easy to talk to. If I ever need a hand specialist again, I will certainly go to see him.

I was a patient of Dr. Hildahl. He performed carpal tunnel surgery on my hand at the Landmark Surgery Center in St Paul. It was a wonderful experience. Starting with my initial consultation with him to the surgery itself to the post operation visit to have my stiches removed. He is a very good doctor. He is so easy to be with. I totally felt he and the surgical team cared for me and I trusted them completely. The entire process went very well. After breaking my arm I was referred to Dr. Blake Hildahl. It was a pleasant surprise that he was able to see me the same afternoon, even though he had other appointments. I was nervous about surgery but he explained the procedure and eased my mind. I was able to have the surgery on the next business day. After the surgery he took the time to explain what was done and my expectations for healing. Since that time, I have had other followup appointments and his staff were very professional.
