Skilled physician
He performed my heart ablation perfectly. He is very skilled and took time to listen to my questions and address my concerns. His P.A. is super awesome.

Disrespected, invalidated, and dismissed
I had very serious symptoms to go over with Dr. Finta, and he interrupted me in the middle of a sentence, ignored all my serious symptoms, and did not put anything I said in my notes on my chart. This is not the first time Dr. Finta has made me feel invalidated. He has told me that everything I was doing was 'pointless' because he claims I was not 'listening to him'. Dr. Finta blames all my serious medical conditions on my mental health. He also failed to go over abnormal test results with me, and refuses to talk to me about new or worsening issues. I would never recommend Dr. Finta, or this clinic to anybody. If you are looking for a caring, understanding provider, this is not where you will find it.

I have never felt more disregarded and disrespected than seeing Dr. Finta. He didn’t consider all of my family medical history. He took bits and pieces of our first appointment together and tried to say I didn’t tell him the whole truth. Interrupted me while I was speaking and then told me to let him speak when I kept talking not letting him interrupt me. Didn’t wear a mask at our appointments. Lastly, didn’t want to listen to my own research from medical sources and was completely unwilling to learn something potentially new. Bedside manner is everything, and he lacks it.

He walked through the ICU without a mask, and when given a mask by one of the nurses wore it on his chin.

Dr. Finta has my cardiologist when he was in Grand Rapids,MI. He failed to recognize and diagnosed progressive pacemaker syndrome. The dangerous ECGs and pacemaker checks were in my chart. I frequently reported palpitations and shortness of breath. The device impulse was functioning but sensing incorrectly. This was putting me into intermittent AV block. Thank God he left Michigan and my new doctor immediately diagnosed the condition. Very abrupt and dismissive patient interaction.

During an ablation procedure while he was in grand rapids mi,, He punctured my heart in two places requiring and emergency open heart repair and a 17 day hospital stay. I was sent home with nothing too hope for and no solution to regaining my health. I was fortunate to locate another surgeon in Ann Arbor Mi. that did the ablation correctly and gave me back some of my health. The damage done by Dr. Finta was and is a lifetime of damage and my stamina is now reduced ad least 50%.

Dr. Finta performed a heart ablation on my husband in 2014. He told us it would be done outpatient and may require an overnight stay in the hospital. My husband spent 17 days in the hospital because Dr. Finta had punctured his heart in two places. The repair required open heart surgery. He was incapacited (wheelchair bound) for three months until we were able to schedule a successful ablation with Dr. Bogun at University of Michigan. I would definitely NOT recommend Dr. Finta to family and
