Dr. Brabham Hester, MD

Dr. Hester is very professional,and respectful and compassionate. He is very knowledgeable and pays close attention to the patient's concerns! I have been his patient for over twenty years and only see the best in the medical field. I am certified in nursing. I will travel wherever necessary to see the best doctors in their specialty.

I was first acquainted with Dr Martha Parker-Hester through my mother-in-law. I accompanied her to some appointments when she was older. I was very impressed and decided to change doctors. She was not accepting new patients at that moment but Dr Martin Hester was so I decided to give him a try. I’ve never regretted the change. Dr. Hester is easy to talk to, listens carefully, explains things well, answers questions thoroughly and spends as much time with you as necessary. He seems very intelligent and well-educated but not arrogant. You want to have a good doctor looking at your health issues but “bedside manner” is also important to me. I think he rates highly in both areas.

I’ve been seeing Hester for years and he is always courteous, patient, and explains my medical treatment clearly. Additionally over time he has gotten to know and that has positively impacted my health. He always gives me plenty of time. He is personable although that does not detract from his treatment when it comes to severe injury or illness.

I have not seen this doctor in years. While I was seeing him, I found him to be more of a joker, always clowning around, even when I needed a serious physician. He never seemed to take me seriously. The final straw was when he started me on a new medication. He told me nothing about it, so I "googled it". There was one med it said not to take with this one, and I was on it. My faith in him plummeted. I know several others with similar experiences. We are all in the medical field.
