Maybe a match for you, but not me
I booked an appointment with Dr Anderson because his practice was highly recommended. He appeared to not want to be questioned or partner with me on my care. I asked some specific questions and he bristled at the questions rather than trying to learn more about my concerns. He did not do a thorough exam during either of my visits with him. He did not listen to my heart, lungs or even look in my ears. Also, while the staff at Sound Family health can be friendly, they are not always efficient in their communications, this resulted in multiple texts and/or phone calls to clarify instructions. I think Dr Anderson might be a good doctor for some people, but it was not a match for me. I have received much better care and consideration with other medical providers.

Dr. Anderson came highly recommended but my experience has been very poor. He doesn’t seem to want to take the time to listen and really understand my concerns. He makes no recommendations for preventative care and when I leave the office there is never a plan in place for follow up or next steps and I always have to push for more assistance. I’ve seen other providers on occasion I. This same prescribe who were great.

New patient visit. Weighed fully clothed with my jacket on and keys, wallet and cell phone in my pockets. Discussed past medical history with Dr. Brad Andersen who was nice, but told me that I do not have depression but I should try an antidepressant for fatigue. He had none of my old records to determine exactly what was tested thus far. Physical exam consisted of me sitting in a chair, fully clothed, while my heart and lungs were assessed through my sweatshirt. Was told I would be followed up on after they receive the records from my previous primary care provider. It's been almost two months and no phone call. The best part is being told they accept my insurance, yet I received a bill in the mail for almost $100. They have been recommended by many people, and I am trying to understand why.

I've been very sick in my short life and have experienced a diversity of doctors in my life time. Brad is the BEST family practice doctor I've had, and I whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone in need of a provider. He's particularly charismatic, and really is a memorable provider who is easy to talk to and feel comfortable around. The other staff at this practice are also top notch. I have no complaints.
