2009, desperate- back injury for 2 yrs, had tried it all- PT, shots, etc. He treated me like an addict, but I didn't want more meds. Said I was too emotional. My life had fallen apart! Ran miles daily, now barely function. Pain is subjective, a doc should have empathy. Waited 2-4 hrs in pain 3x/wk, for 5 min of abuse! Husband had to come each time to defend me, say I didn't need drug rehab! Reminds me of when women were accused of hysteria- the dark ages? People shouldn't be treated this way.
