Retirement
Dr. Blackburn's pain management treatments which he performed on me over the years were instrumental in allowing me to maintain a normal pain free life style. I am extremely thankful for his medical treatment. I wish him well in his retirement. May he sail into a great next venture in his life.

Excellent doctor! Great Staff!
Dr. Blackburn has helped me tremendously over the past 4 years. I had a series of 3 injections in my back in 2018 and had no problems for 4 years. Now with a recent back issue I had an injection in June and am looking forward to another injection today. Thank you Dr. Blackburn!

Dr. Blackburn was extremely arrogant and very dismissive of my health history and medical concerns regarding potential contraindications involved in his treatment plan for me. Although he has practiced medicine for over 40 years, apparently, based on my experience as well as those described in previous reviews, he lacks empathy for patients and all of his practice has earned him an A in only one area, "Condescension 101".

Rude, arrogant and seemed like I was bothering him just by seeing him. I had back problems and went to see him for spinal injections. When I saw him for my first round of 2 injections, he hit a nerve and severe pain ran down my leg. It was so intense that I cried out. He acted like I was being a baby about the pain. I am not a person who normally lets pain get the best of me but this was really bad. When I left, I decided that I didn't want this man touching me ever again. I never saw him for my second round of treatment even though his staff called me repeatedly to schedule. I've had good doctors and some not so good but this guy is the worst!

He was rude, keep flipping his hand at me and treated me very badly, I was so shocked by his manners and how pissy he was about my doctor and my health insurance and his overall treatment of me that I actually felt awful when I left and was in tears when I got to my car. I would never, ever go back to him or recommend him to my worst enemy.

He must have skipped the bedside manner part of med school. He's arrogant. Doesn't matter how good he is if he makes a prospective patient cry after leaving his office.

I feel like he is the first doctor who is really going to get to the bottom of everything. He is very thorough and really tries to get to the source of the problem. I highly recommend him. Staff was also excellent kind and compassionate they listened to all of my ranting and kept a smile on their face. Wait time was like none at all and they went out of their way to get all of the info that he needed.

My orthopedist recommended Dr. Blackburn for an injection in the hip joint capsule and said that if I needed it he could give me sedation which I did not need. Dr. Blackburn was excellent and very skilled. Prior to the injection my hip was very painful for two months, so I wondered if the injection would be. It was not painful at all and I can't praise Dr. Blackburn enough. I highly recommend him for any such procedure; he is thoughtful, caring, and a five star doctor.

I had procedures completed in February, received the Bill on March 28. Started to receive collection calls on March 30. Payment was not due until April 12. Additionally, I see no reason that I should have to pay over the amount the insurance company has already paid.
