Dr. Bradley Tamler, MD

Dr. Tamler has been my physician for over 20 years. I was referred to him for radiation treatment after a cancer diagnosis which resulted in 6 weeks of treatment and over 20 years of follow-up.He is one of the most caring, comforting, professional and qualified physicians I've had the fortune of being treated by and knowing. When one is diagnosed with cancer it seems as if their whole world is turned upside down with so much fear and uncertainty. I can remember Dr. Tamler placing his hand on my shoulder and saying, 'this is not your fault'. On another occasion, he said, 'you go out and live life and let me worry about your treatment'. I can't describe the impact these statements had on me. Since my original diagnosis, I've had a second cancer diagnosis in addition to a recurrence of the original cancer. Dr. Tamler has been by my side and is always one step ahead in terms of coordinating appointments and treatments with specialists. I think of him as my guiding angel.

I came to Doc Tamler with a 4” tumor at the base of my tongue. Through 6 weeks of radiation Monday through Friday the tumor was completely burned out. It was no tea party. I learned right away to shut up and let the doc do his thing! Wild sense of humor went along With his treatment. Amazing staff! Ring the bell I’m 4 years out and cancer free!Thank you Dr. Tamler and staff!!!

Knowledgeable, competent, thorough, consciencious. In early 2021 Dr. Tamler and his team had successfully treated me for a high grade, aggressive type of prostate cancer by radiation. Recently I was diagnosed with NSCLC left lower lobe lung cancer and I again I entrust with confidence my radiation treatment to Dr. Tamler and his team at CHOMP. Laszlo Horvath (patient)

Dr Tamler helped save my husband’s life. After a few years past his and his staff’s careful, professional and skilled radiation treatment for prostate cancer, Dr Tamler identified a rise in PSA. He steered us to a UCSF clinical trial to pinpoint the metastasis, and connected us with a Stanford Dr specialist for successful treatment. His manner was engaged, knowledgeable, light hearted and comforting. My husband continues to do well. Our grand daughter is able to know and love her grandpa, thanks to Dr Tamler. We are eternally grateful for the additional years and time together.

I don't really understand Dr. Tamler's "humor." What I do understand is I have a 3.5 cm. Basal cell tumor on my ear. I was told by dr. Generoso and two Drs. at the California Akin institute that this matter was "urgent".

He is a good high-tech doctor; he has a nice sense of humor, sharp, knowledgeable. What I like about him that he record every patient’s details on his computer, so he can check it out before he start examine his patient. He is a good listener and he can understand what you are coming from. It is very pleasant to find a good doctor in Monterey CA.

AWFUL. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. HAVE BEEN WATCHING MY FATHER BE TORTURED BY THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR FOR OVER A YEAR. UNRETURNED CALLS, MEDICATIONS NOT SUPPLIED, QUESTIONS NOT ANSWERED HONESTLY. THE LAST STRAW WAS THIS WEEK WHEN MY DAD SHOWED UP FOR HIS SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ONLY TO FIND THE DOCTOR HAD GONE ON VACATION, LEAVING NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE STAFF REGARDING MY THE CONCERNS HE NEEDED ADDRESSED. CANCER IS LIFE OR DEATH STUFF AND TAMBLER CERTAINLY SHOULD BE MORE SENSITIVE TO THAT.

Due to several odd and unexplainable types of cancer I was referred to Dr. Tamler through my Oncologist. I tend to try to keep my health issues light. Dr. Tamler recognized this and took a similar approach. Dr.T had reviewed my mysterious cancer past and was knowledgeable on the different treatments. Dr. T shared his opinion on the type of treatments and shared the why verses simply agreeing with other opinions. Having seen many Drs and had many treatments and surgeries I trust Dr. T 100%

Very unprofessional and uncaring. Was abrupt and rude. Was not knowledgeable about the latest cancer treatment options. I very highly do not recommend.
