While waiting for emergency surgery in the pre-op area, Dr. Furst came by to say hello and ask some relevant questions about my health. His thoughtful and attentive manner at that time helped me to relax prior to the surgery and in the operating room, where he took special care of my arthritic neck. He also came to the recovery room to check on me afterwards. His competent care and kindness made all the difference to my sudden, unexpected stay in the hospital.
