Dr. Amalakuhan immediately puts you at ease. He communicates what you need to hear and he is very kind and gentle in his evaluation and examination. I couldn't ask for a better Pulmonary doctor.

The doctor showed me a great deal of empathy. He took the time to listen to my concerns and recommend a course of treatments that I could follow. The concern he and his staff has shown me makes me feel comfortable with the therapies he prescribes. His staff is friendly and helpful when I contact the office on the phone and when I am there in person. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a skilled and personable physician.

I am truly grateful for Dr. A! He always manages to address my asthmatic needs as a number one priority. I’ve been seeing Dr. A for well over two years and it’s been very beneficial for my overall health as well. I’m not where I want to be, but I’m in a much better place than I was in 2022! Started seeing Dr. Amalakuhan back in 2020 after my release from the hospital. I couldn’t ask for such a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and great doctor. Never thought I would find a doctor who would listen and be so positive and assuring that my health would get better in time. As for his medical assistant she is great!

I started seeing Dr B in 2019 before COVID. My wife is now him too and we’ve referred family and friends to him. He is the best Dr I have ever had and I’m 73 so I’ve seen many. He listens and truly cares for people. He’s never rushed and makes sure you understand any instructions going forward. As others have said I wish all my doctors were as good as him.

Dr. Amalakuhan was attentive to my situation immediately. He was interested in finding why I was feeling unwell and he found a new drug that helped me get off the oxygen supplement I had needed for 2 years.

The fact that he listens, takes in your concerns, processes, then prescribes, or suggests a plan. He doesn't just throw drugs at you and BAM it solves all your problems. A problem that didn't manifest until 2020 he worked out for me. I wish all my doctor's were more like him. Actually more concerned with his patients then how many he can see in one day.

In addition to being knowledgeable and thorough, Dr. Amalakuhan was so patient and kind. He took the time I needed to explain things to me, and to listen to my concerns. I never felt rushed through the appointments I've had with him. He exceeded my expectations with the scheduling and execution of a procedure I required.
