Dr. Brenda Casselberry, DPM

My wife came to Dr casselberry and we immediately noticed that there was a dog running around in the exam rooms. The building is in disrepair blown lights, broken floor tiles. She is associated with east alabama medical center and she is a terrible representative of their organization.

The entire visit was not pleasant at all. The office was dank and dark, the front desk personnel was borderline rude, and there was a dog barking and yapping the entire time we were there that she said was her dog. She stated that it wasn't a service dog either. Dr Casselberry was dismissive and would not address the problem I was sent there for, and I was only there for one issue. She stated that she doesn't fix other doctor's mistakes, and then for no reason at all she decided to do an orthotic shoe insert, which I was not there for, stating it would help the problem that she wouldn't treat. That insert caused extreme pain, and made the condition worse. She also took xrays, even though she wasn't going to treat me for what I was there for. So basically padded the bill for the insurance. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to her.

She knoww her stuff and does a good job explaining what is needed.

Dr. Casselberry was extremely negligent in EVERYTHING for my wife’s procedure. To start, I am furious because my wife is traumatized due to Casselberry’s lack of professionalism and starting her procedure BEFORE the area of treatment was numb from the local anesthesia administered. Secondly, when she continued on with procedure - after my wife was screaming and writhing in pain and telling her to stop she was going to pass out. Which she then did pass out. When she came too a friendly nurse - the only light in the situation - she noticed an animal in her exam room. The doctor had a DOG, in what was supposed to be a sterile environment. When given the sheet for self-care at home, my wife had specific questions about it and she didn’t answer ANY of them. Every question my wife asked her, she answered flippantly, if she answered at all. ALSO to pour fuel on this dumpster fire of a situation - Casselberry did not prescribe her the required antibiotic needed for recovery.
