Dr. Brenda Watkins, MD

I have been impressed with Dr. Watkins’ knowledge and manner in her office. She takes the time to explain procedures and answer my questions. Her office is well organized and appointments are timely, but I find the communication between office and patient wanting. One receptionist is not very welcoming and almost curt, but the Doctor and her PA’s are respectful in their care and service.

I have “shopped” for a dermatologist since I moved to the Austin area for the past 8 years! Finally, due to a trusted friend’s recommendation I found Dr. Watkins. She , and her staff, are the epitome of professional, have the state of the art tools of their practice, and is thorough , explaining all of her actions and determinations. Treats patients with respect.

Dr. Watkins is very thorough in examining all parts of the body and explains issues. She is extremely personable and a very good communicator.

I love Dr. Watkins! She embodies the charm of a Texan and the expertise of a scholar. She and her excellent staff have always been unhurried and thorough during our visits. She has exhibited incredible patience with me as I resisted a diagnosis of seborrheic dermatitis. Each time I suggested any other diagnosis than this terrible chronic illness, she calmly considered the possibility. Doctor Watkins never made me feel foolish, hysterical or dramatic in my distress. She addressed all of my concerns very methodically. After months of work, we have finally established a regimen of skin care which has allowed me to look and feel well again. I can not praise her highly enough. If you are lucky enough to need a dermatologist in Dripping Springs, I recommend you call Dr. Watson!

My experience with Dr. Brenda Watkins was exceptional. She was very thorough on my full body screening for skin cancer. Also, she had a very caring and nice manner when communicating with me during the examination. I highly recommend her for people in the Dripping Springs area.
