Recommended Service Not Needed
Brendan was overseeing a resident and he had recommended an X-ray out of an 'abundance of caution' even though all information pointed toward a diagnosis of 'Nursemaid's Elbow'. It seems with his experience he could have advised to wait another day (which would not have made a difference) to see any symptoms returned. There were no symptoms at the time if recommendation and he should have known that diagnosis given his experience. The X-Ray cost a significant amount of money and there was a comment made 'it is cheap for reassurance'. That makes it seem like it was recommended by him to make money rather than by experience. Would not recommend him for care.
