Efficient and proficient
Seeing Dr. Pillemer marked the turning point in my life this February. I had two benign looking cysts which, despite excisions, continued to grow, and I was grateful to get a second opinion. He immediately sensed something wrong, sent biopsy samples for testing, and mentallly prepared me for bad news. He then called me up to deliver me the bad news and patiently explained my options. He set me up with the best Mohrs surgeon to start my cancer recovery journey. He also asked about my progress 9 months after he saw me. His compassion for patient, who he only saw once, just speak volumes, but most of all I am amazed at his expertise in recognizing problems right away. Thank you doctor Pillemer!

A very bad experience
My son had a big wart with a thick skin. Dr. Pillemer told us we need to come 3 times. He only sprayed the wart for like 3 seconds and did not do anything else. The treatment was not working and I decided not to come anymore. After a year we went to see another dermatologist who was very thorough. First, he removed the old thick skin and froze it several times for much longer than the other doctor. He also put a medicine on it. He also explained that by not taking the old thick skin off, the freezing would not penetrate to the wart and it would not work. He was right! I am never going to Dr. Pillemer anymore. I feel like he scammed us and wanted us to come more than necessary so he can charge us.
