Dr. Acker is super nice
Dr. Acker explains things well and listens to my concerns. I got to see the doctor after about a 15 minute wait, which isn't bad. I would recommend him.

Horrible practice
This doctor has been of no help whatsoever over the course of 2 years. he keeps throwing drugs at my husband that are offering no help whatsoever. We found a clinic that can actually help my husband and he refuses to give a referral. We are at our wits end and feel like he couldn’t care less about our dilemma, his office is impossible to get ahold of. You can never speak with a human being. In order to talk to a person we actually had to drive all the way to his office, walk in unannounced to speak to a real live person. When we finally did walk into his office physically the person we spoke to at the desk literally had no answers to any questions. The only thing she could say is I don’t know anything about that or I have no idea, etc. it also takes them forever to follow up on any kind of request you may have, even the simplest thing. It doesn’t matter. do not ever go to this practice or this doctor.

Dr. Acker is phenomenal. I never leave reviews but he deserves the praise. He is caring, listens, and takes the time to educate you. You can tell he is confident in his knowledge and truly wants you to feel your best. If you’re looking for a doctor who shows up for the patient, he is your guy!

If I could leave zero stars I would. They DO NOT check insurance before they send you to other offices, they DO NOT listen to you when you explain your symptoms. They DO NOT help you to feel as though they care. Awful office. Dr. Acker almost seemed angry that that his "diagnosis" was wrong and nothing improved. Very displeased.

Knowledgeable, intelligent, and caring... Dr. Acker (and his friendly staff) performed my initial consult and eventually, the colonoscopy. I found him to be very a personable doctor and a great listener (listened and answered to all my concerns and questions). I'd recommend him to anyone!
