-Brent_d_Arc MD-I don't think your professional enough and made me worried as i definitely need this surgery as you know now as iv have professionals and state dr tell me so i just dont think you should do it or go thru you because you we're not confident enough in your own work and the turnaround and i definitely don't think you should do my surgery I'll find a real professional that's confident in his work if u don't realize what patients are going through you need to go back in to training what worng with you trying to return me to mountified work as i also have a back injury shoulder arm neck from this horrible accident but you're just a knee specialist that's just focuses on one thing you need to rear evaluate yourself I realize injuries go further than just your specialty and i'm disappointed in you and your modif works status i don't want to recommend anybody going to you as you ignore all other problem, except your specialty look forward to speaking with you and your employer

Will transfer care to someone else
I have seen this doctor for both a worker's comp injury and a non-worker's comp injury. There were years between both of these injuries and unfortunately my experience was the exact same both times which tells me this is just how he is as a doctor. For both matters he was very dismissive of my injury and my pain. I get the sense that unless you need surgery, he just isn't interested in you as a patient. I will not continue care with him and will be transferring my current injury to a different provider.

Unbelievably dismissive and rude
I now have to deal with worker's comp adjuster to get a second opinion. I would never see him again-under any circumstances. He is very uncaring, very rude, and makes you feel like an idiot. I'd use profanity to describe him if I could.

Aclr and meniscus
I highly recommend this doctor if you have any sports medicine related injury’s he has done a great job with my acl reconstruction and meniscus. He is very helpful with helping the patient make the best decision for them and their needs as a patient. Awesome doctor and he is very personable from my experience with him and his office staff and has what’s best for the patient in mind.

Good luck fitting in the same room with his ego
Dude is unbelievably arrogant and condescending. I asked a few clarifying and reasonable questions about my daughter's injury, and he talked down to me as if I were her age. Canceled my follow up, refuse to give him any more $. You deserve better.

Dismissive and Doesn't Listen
Dr. D'Arc seems to show a pattern of being very rude and dismissive with workers comp patients. He spent no more than five minutes with my husband and refused to listen to any medical history or look at scans on an injury he recently had surgery on. When my husband tried explaining that the original surgeon noticed a problem (in the scans he won't look at) that may need additional surgery, he looked at my husband like he was an idiot and said it wasn't unnecessary. Then he proceeded to send him back to work, saying 'there is nothing he can do.'

Workers comp – Jul 18, 2023
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. D'Arc?
Never again! Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy
Worker’s Comp injuries. He was rude, cold, distant; uncaring. He REFUSED to review history of injuries. “I don’t get paid to read. I have to pay staff and utilities”. He REFUSED to review the X-rays HE ordered with a wave of his hand. I was frustrated and in so much pain I agreed to the total knee replacement which had been previously suggested. I needed more than the suggested PT time but again, He REFUSED to fight for the patient. His concern was the insurance company’s recommendation, paying staff and the utilities! I’d rather take my chances in Mexico!!

Want to go straight to surgery
Dr D’ark say me for a sore knee. I had injured 2 years prior. Earlier studies showed osteonecrosis and recent X-rays showed osteoarthritis of the joint. He did no further studies and wanted to replace my knee right away. I settled for a cortisone shot and have been active ever since. Knee replacement? Really?

STAY AWAY! I was sent to him for a workers comp injury and he was very dismissive of my shoulder pain. He stated his hands were tied and going by the books. Right there is when I knew he was only concern about taking care of the insurance company and not his patient. Got a second opinion and I do have a tear in my shoulder which explains why one shoulder is higher then the other. Horrible doctor who only cares about the money

UPDATE: Was unable to update previous review, but Dr. D'Arc failed to physically examine me and via xrays determined it was my weight causing my knee pain. Lost 30 pounds and did not get any relief. Visited another orthopedist and just had surgery yesterday for what ended up being TWO tears on the meniscus. One was a bad medial tear and the other was what the doctor said appeared to be an old lateral tear. Find a doctor that will listen to you and cares about your health.

Horrible. I went in for persistent knee pain that has gotten worse. Dr. d'Arc immediately diagnosed me with patellafemoral syndrome, without even doing an exam! He never looked at the x rays that he ordered, said they were probably fine, and even went on to criticize the doctor who did my discoid meniscus surgery. He insulted my intelligence with dismissive and sarcastic remarks, all within the 10 minute visit (that he was late for). Turns out my x rays are NOT normal and surgery may be required

If I could leave a zero I would. My mom was experiencing excruciating back pain, and saw this jerk. He treated her horribly, told her "it was just old age" my mom cried trying to tell him it was more than that because the pain came on suddenly after lifting a heavy object. He didn't want to hear it, and was yelling at her. I wish i could tell the whole story but for lack of characters he was outright malicious. she saw another Dr and confirmed it was herniated disks and needed emergency surgery.

Rude and Arrogant! This doctor lacks compassion. The 1st thing he asked me is if I was ready to do surgery. I told the receptionist and Dr d"Arc that I was there for my "right" knee to find out why it was hurting. He focused on my "left" knee and I had to tell him multiple times that he was worried about the wrong knee. This doctor is a sports medicine doctor who wants To treat young athletes. I needed this DR to provide me a diagnosis to determine the next steps.

Dr. d'Arc is a wonderful doctor. He repaired my son's torn ACL and meniscus today, and I received a call from him this evening to varify that he is ok. Every visit we had prior to surgery was prompt. His staff is very helpful. He answered all of my questions before and after surgery was performed. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon.

Took a little while to get an appointment, but the nice thing was he was on time. I laughed when I saw other reviews which mentioned his height, but it was true! He was nice. He took tome to explain everything and gave me an injection the same day. It didn't hurt! I would recommend him.
