Dr. Brent Tamamoto, MD

Very patient and caring doctor who listens to your concerns. Easy to communicate with and really listens to you. Never had to wait more than ten minutes in the waiting room and they even stayed open late for me to pick up my child’s vaccination records. Easy to make an appointment and they always call you back when you leave a message. Staff is also easy to talk to and the office is conveniently located in Aiea so no town traffic to deal with.

AWFUL! Office is dirty. Staff is the worse & doesn't communicate well. The doctor gives out way too much print outs when asking him a simple question. It's like he doesn't know the answer and goes into his office to check online. Wait time is on average an hour just to get into a room and get the appointment started. Add another hour just to see the doctor. He seems nice, but gives a bad vibe. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. That's what I'm doing.

Dirty office. Condescending doctor. At first he acts like he is everything you want in a doctor but after a few visits that changes, he is never wrong and parents concerns aren’t valid

Staffs are very nice, place is nice. I’ve read some comments it said that it’s a long wait. It is a long wait but it doesn’t bother me at all. Ofcourse he has to evaluate the evaluation paper we fill out every visit in order to know what’s going on. He’s very nice and my kids and I feel secure and comfortable around him and his staffs when we go visit. He’s very nice to my kids. He gives advise when needed. Whenever I need to talk to him he’s always there even on his day off.Whenever my kids are sick and it’s after hour, he’s always there to help me on the spot. Overall I think he’s the best pediatrician that my kids ever have.

You can tell he cares about every patient he sees. He will follow up with hospital visits when needed and takes time to answer any question or concern you may have. My kids trust Dr. Brent and so do I.

Dirty office, long wait times, tries to diagnose over phone, horrible bed side manner, give pamphlets when you ask a simple question, doesn’t correctly diagnose children, and I would not reccomend!

He has great bedside manner and is soft spoken so that my young children are comfortable around him. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He doesn’t make you feel rushed and is not at all condescending. You know that he really cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does. His staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable too! I have nothing bad to say about him. He is great!
