Horrible staff
It took over 3 weeks of regularly following up to get a CT scan sent over. Prescription refills have been filled at an old location repeatedly even with clear instructions.

I’ll give this Doctor 10 stars!!! We were on a motorcycle ride near Tahlequah when the other rider went off the rode and was injured. God sent an angle to drive by the accident which was Doctor Brent Wakefield from Jenks Oklahoma. He immediately took control of the situation checking vital signs, paralysis and head injuries and comforting our friend. He stayed the whole time until paramedics arrived and then provided medical information for what they need to address at the hospital and then helped load our friend in the ambulance. Thank you again Doctor Brent Wakefield. We can never repay what you did for us all.

Dr Wakefield has been my primary care physician for over 10 years and I trust him and his staff more than any other doctor I've seen (I'm 69 years old). Dr. Wakefield is kind, thorough, listens to me and is genuinely concerned about my health. He takes all the time I need at each appointment to answer my questions; he never makes me feel rushed. His staff is very caring and professional. I recommend Dr Wakefield to anyone looking for a doctor.

When you walk in, don't ever expect a warm welcome. The staff up front acts as though it absolutely causes them physical pain to help you in any way. You can stand there and they will not acknowledge you. I'm sure that Wakefield is competent. The PA 's that are there are very nice. The nurse Brandy is very nice and very respectful. The nurse Brandon is nice but if you're needing him to do something expect to get it at his leisure, even if it's urgent. I could never in good conscience recommend this office to anyone. The 5 people that gave this office five stars, must be related to one of the girls up front, because they are the only five that are getting treated well at this office. I've been going here for just about three years now and I've decided, it's time to find a new doctor. Seeing him is not worth the rudeness you will endure before you're finally in a room. I shouldn't have to tell myself to be EXTRA nice, so that maybe they will be nice to me. Unprofessional.

This place is a joke. First off, I haven’t seen my actual Dr in about 2 years. I always see a PA, which is a waste of time, too. She can’t make any decisions regarding care without asking the dr first and most things I would ask about she has to look up on her phone or say she’s not sure. Secondly, if you want to have to go in monthly for maintenance medications (not controlled substances) then this is the place for you. BUT if you run out before your next appointment, you’ll get one pill!

office staff is unprofessional and I have never met Dr. Wakefield despite having been in his office a half dozen times. I have no idea if Brent is a decent man, much less doctor. Ashley is an adequate PA. My family works in medicine, this office is substandard.

I've been going to Dr. Wakefield for about 3 years and really like him. I don't see him every time but do see him when I come in for big things like my annual physical, etc. I like getting in to see the PAs he has though, it means I can usually get in within just a few days for routine items and usually on the same day if it's an emergecy-ish situation - flu, stomach bug, etc. Also, since my company has moved to a high deductible plan, he's been great about working with me on costs and payment a

I have been seeing Dr Wakefield for a few years now. I have found all the personnel to take active interest in my ongoing conditions and any new thing that crops up. Dr Wakefield and PA's have also investigated a few things that I had questions about from previous tests performed before I was their patient until a definitive answer was found. My last physician actually had the nerve to tell me to "look it up on the internet" when I questioned him about a problem. Wakefield is fantastic!

Dr. Wakefield was great. I felt listened to, and my treatment was proactive. IF YOU CAN SURVIVE/TOLERATE THE RUDE AND LAZY FRONT OFFICE, you will have a good experience with the doctor. Unfortunately the office has too much to do with our medical care than I like anywhere you go.

I am a new patient of Dr. Wakefield. I was expecting to see him upon the initial visit to establish him as a PCP for my 3 year old son and myself. He was on vacation so his PA saw us. I have a very long standing & documented condition that requires a medication to treat. it is often abused by other people, he won't write for it without seeing me in person but will not fit me into his schedule. The medication I take should be stopped cold turkey, but I'll have been out of it for a month at least.
