Please seek second opinion before having anything done because once he operates on you, you will never be able to talk to him...just his staff and they are just there to do a job. They have no compassion and could care less about your concerns

He was kind but after my back surgery I’m worse off than I was before he operated on me. I was left with scar tissue wrapped around my sciatic nerve! And to top it off.... he wouldn’t go back in and fix it. So now I limp all the time and am in constant severe pain. Before my surgery the disc he took out would rub up against my sciatic nerve every few days and sometimes just a couple times a week. The pain when it did because it would inflame was sever. So no more disc, left with scar tissue ????

Dr Coger did my 8th low back surgery on Aug 2, 2017. Prior to my surgery I was hunched over and could barely walk and lived with radicular leg pain for the past 25 years. After the surgery I can walk up right again no pain in my legs and feel great. This man dr Coger is in my view one of the finest neurosurgerns I’ve ever had and I’ve seen a few. All I can say is thank you thank you so much. Matt

This man is the worst doctor I've ever encountered. My father-in-law had a massive stroke, "Dr." Coger was his surgeon. We went seven full days without seeing him while my F-I-L was in the hospital. He avoided the family at all costs and only saw us when we tracked him down and forced him to see or speak to us. He does not follow the wishes. We found out at the end that he had not even ordered pain medication. My F-I-L spend 2 weeks in agonizing pain and could not communicate it to us.
