Knowledgeable and compassionate
I have been Dr. Davis’s patient for more than 15 years, and I would never think of going to another dermatologist. Dr. Davis is a consummate professional. Dr. Davis is knowledgeable, efficient, and an outstanding communicator. I seldom have to wait more than five minutes to see him. He always gets right to the heart of the problem and never wastes my time or his. In addition to his competence and efficiency, he always makes me feel that he truly cares about my health and well-being.

Good doctor, good visit
Very nice. Went in for a skin cancer screening, was professional but good bedside manner. Clearly knows a lot, wanted to help.

Horrible patient care
He has no patience for his patients. He is a volume-focused physician. $$$$ rather than patient care. He has no interest in what a patient has to say, does not involve the patient in conversation about the health concern, and does not personalize his care to the patient. Over the course of 3 visits, he spent a total of 8.5 minutes with me. After complaining to staff and insisting he spend more than 2 to 3 minutes per visit with me, on the 4th visit he spent 11 minutes but couldn't wait to leave and get to the next money maker. He doesn't remember from one prior visit to the next your med history, concerns, questions or even why you set an appointment with him in the first place. He is better suited for teaching or research than patient care. Never once did he greet me, ask my name, ask about the prior treatment, reactions, or concerns. Worst of it all, I was emailed a bill while I was in the waiting room and the prognosis wasn't even discussed.

I was having a full body skin check for the first time ever by a dermatologist. I spend a lot of time outdoors as well as having a family skin cancer history. I felt like Dr. Davis, at best, did a cursory inspection. It was not at all as detailed as I expected. He did prescribe medication for my scalp seborrhea that explained how long to leave the shampoo in which hadn't been explained before. I found out after the appointment that I have two acquaintances that had similar poor experiences. I don't trust the results of this appointment.

Terribly late for appointment, and was rude and abrasive. When my symptoms appeared again, I contacted Dr. Davis via the MyChart portal with questions. He was dismissive and not helpful. I do NOT recommend this physician.

In my opinion Dr. Davis is the epitome of a great MD! He's warm, welcoming on each visit, clearly genuinely concerned about my well-being. He probably saved my life by early detection of Merkel-Cell Carcinoma and quick instigation of its removal. My level of appreciation is very very high!
