Three failed attempts at an epidural is not my idea of a competent doctor. When I had my son 5 years ago a different doctor gave me an epidural which worked beautifully on the first attempt. Dr. English seemed more and more agitated each time he had to redo the procedure. On the first attempt he gotthe anesthesia intoy bloodstream which made me feel like I was dying.
