I have been seen by Dr. Sklaw , he is a very knowledgeable doctor and he will put you at ease the moment the interview starts.

I gave 4 stars because it was my first visit. I will most definitely complete a new review as things progress.

Dr Sklaw was extremely professional and friendly. He was easy to speak with, and willing to answer all my questions in a manner that I was able to understand.

Excellent experience including procedure and bedside. Found a few polyps which is another reason for early screening.

Dr. Sklaw was familiar with my medical history. He was kind and patient. For the first time in 10 years I feel I am getting the proper treatment for my Crohn's disease. I would highly recommend Dr. Sklaw and Ohio Gastro. I felt that I am in good hands.

I’m a pretty outgoing person and don’t hesitate to ask questions, engage in conversation, and show the doctor that I am part of the team. I think Dr. Sklaw likes that approach; he has always been very forthright and engaging with me. Wouldn’t have anyone else take care of my Gastro issues. He shows his concern and knows your history well enough to make solid recommendations about follow up care. Wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Dr. Sklaw did my EGD and I would recommend him. He was very caring and skilled. When I was alert after the procedure he explained what had been done and what was found. My procedure was done in Pickerington and I was impressed by the entire staff; receptionist, nurses, anesthesia and all others who involved in my care.

Doctor and staff great and kept apprehension to a minimum.

Dr. Sklaw and his team are professional, courteous, and listen to the patient. From the minute you enter the office to the interaction with his team, you are treated with dignity, respect and they inspire a lot of confidence in their abilities.

Answered my questions.

Everyone was totally professional during my colonoscopy two weeks ago. Every step of the process was handled well, and they all made me feel very comfortable for a scary procedure. I highly recommend the Ohio Gastroenterology Group and will gladly refer others to them. Thanks to Dr. Brett Sklaw and all of the nurses and MA's for the calming words of support.

I had a colonoscopy and upper gi scope. I have 2 issues with Sklaw, First, I felt severe upper belly pain immediately upon waking. It never eased, and Dr Sklaw's words were we are discharging you, if the pain persists go to the ER. It felt like it was intentional to relieve Sklaw and Ohio Gastro of any responsibility. Secondly, I subsequently vomited the next morning. It was fluid and what looked remarkably like drip coffee grounds. My GP doctor told me today that it was in all likelihood old blood and without committing to his words, said the upper GI scoping process done carelessly can cause a multitude of microscopic tears. The tears bleed slowly and heal in days if you are fortunate.

I like Dr Sklaw he made feel comfortable He allowed me to ask questions and he answer all of them. He explained to the tests he wants me to have and why.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Sklaw and his staff. They have been professional, caring, knowledgeable, and attentive. When I've had questions, they have been prompt to get back to me with answers. Dr. Sklaw even called me at 9:00 p.m. one evening about concerns with some blood work I had done in preparation for my appointment. He explained his concerns and helped me address issues with my primary physician. At my appointments, he has reviewed my condition and provided helpful explanations and recommendations. I sincerely appreciate the great care Dr. Sklaw has provided.
