I saw Dr. Ueeck yesterday to have a wisdom tooth removed. I have CVID (Common Variable Immune Deficiency) and the protocol for any dental work is amoxicillin premed. He did not give me the premed as he should have and afterward would not give me a prescription for it. I did not realize until afterward because of the anesthesia. My dentist that referred me knew about this condition and has never not given me premed and in fact, agreed with it. He even prescribed it for routine teeth cleaning. I called him but he was out of town. I finally called my immunologist who called the prescription in for me. I am not impressed by a doctor who does not go by protocol prescribed by a condition he does not specialize in. Evidently he thinks he knows more than all other doctors.

Dr Ueeck is one of my favorite practitioners of all time. I’ve seen more than my fair share of doctors, so I feel confident in giving Dr Ueeck high marks for his ability to to meet the patient where they are at (emotional intelligence), to explain clearly what the patient needs to comprehend, and to follow up (above and beyond) with referrals and suggestions for improving the patients outcome; understanding that he may not have all the answers for you (humility). This is a doctor you can trust.

When no other medical professional could figure out why I was having so much in my face it was Dr. Ueeck who figured it out. He took great care in ridding me of the skin cancer that took over the left side of my face. I owe my life to Dr. Ueeck.

I was a surgery patient of Dr. Ueeck. He left me with permanent nerve damage, facial pain and numbness. Additionally he caused joint damage and severe malalignment of my bite limiting me to eat a soft diet for three years. Treatment and surgery to correct the damage caused by Dr. Ueeck cost $150,000. I had to take out a second mortgage on my home to pay for this treatment. But I am able to eat again! Dr Ueeck does not have the skill or judgement to perform these surgeries. This is not an isolated incident, this is the real reason Dr Ueeck’s practice moved from Portland Oregon to Alaska. ALASKA BE AWARE!!!!
