CPAP Patients beware
Been with this DR a long time, looking for a new practitioner. Things were not good before Covid but are worse now. Initially Dr. Abaluck was with Paoli Hospital Staff. Now he has his own stand alone office which I am sure has expenses. I was told to make a follow up appointment, 'for insurance requirements'. Upon calling my insurance they had no such requirements. When I called because my cpap machine suddenly cut off in the middle of the night, and then I restarted it, (it made a different pinging noise). A response call was made to me and a lengthy voicemail which did not answer my question. I was charged $150 for this voicemail. If I would have returned the call I am sure another $150 would have been charged. A new CPAP had settings changed, I could not exhale, a call to report this was billed to me. They change your CPAP setting and then you are billed for them to correct their mistakes. A previous CPAP supplier was more than dishonest regarding repairs. Lack of integrity.

Do not really understand this practice. No regularly scheduled follow-up appointments. When you do get a follow-up, they have lots of data that they never thought to share. Next to impossible to speak to anyone. No response to on-line request for a follow-up appointment. Moving on.

If I could give this guy a negative rating, I would. He was referred to me by my Primary. It took me two months to get an appointment in person. After a 15 minute consult, I was told that I would have to undergo a sleep study. Waited two weeks, came back to his office, and picked up the sleep study kit. They couldn't explain to me right then and there how to use it. Had to attend a Zoom call later that evening. Then, the sleep study kit had to be returned by noon the next day. Never mind that some of us work. After returning the sleep study kit, I did not hear from his office for three weeks. Then I was notified by text message over the weekend that there was a Zoom call set up for that Tuesday. So...I clear my afternoon to attend this consult. 40 minutes before the Zoom I was notified via text that they had to cancel! They conduct all their business via text message. It seems as though they could care less about their patients. Never going back! Will find another doctor.

I couldn't have been any more unimpressed with my visit with Dr Abaluck. Since this was my first visit, the office wanted all kinds of medical history and records from my other providers, sleep studies, and CPAP history. No problem. They had everything they needed for about 2 months before my online visit. Yet, the doctor is looking up records/history on his computer during our brief appointment and obviously reading and looking at things for the first time. He couldn't find the forwarded records from my CPAP, so he was wasting time looking them up on a website. He prescribed a drug that didn't help, with no plan to see if it worked or to try an alternative. I cancelled the appointment that was made for 2 months later. Seems like Covid is being used as an excuse to plow through patients and make a big payday. Not a fan, would never go back.

He did absolutely nothing for my husband. He doesn't call/call back ever. He doesn't care about his patients at all. His office just kept calling for payment too. Funny, they can call about that but nothing else. We ended up just paying because we were sick of getting payment calls, but he did NOTHING.

My visit was a first class experience that began w Dr Abaluk personally coming into the waiting room to introduce himself, and take me back to his office for the consult. I’ve never experienced this personal touch from a physician, and for this reason alone, I’d recommend him to others.

I was sent to Brian by my primary care and diagnosed with severe sleep ap. Upon several devices not working and my body not being able to tolerate the machine for the required 4 hours a night; insurance is pulling me off of it and there has been absolutely NO follow up from him, his office, or staff. So much for patient care and worrying about a severe problem affecting my health. On top of that you are billed for every single thing there which again wasn't explained either. AVOID
