First visit and Dr. Capogna carefully reviewed and explained the issues with my knee. He was wonderfully honest and provided his suggestions how to proceed. He has a great “bedside manner”. His diagnosis of my condition explained very well why the pain and why my knee was collapsing . I wouldn’t hesitate seeing him again for any orthopedic issue.

I have been seeing Dr. Capogna for my knee issues. He is always very attentive and caring! Dr Capogna takes the time to explain your issues, scans or potential treatment. He does not push for surgery unless absolutely needed, unlike a lot of doctors. Highly recommend!

Both me and my daughter have seen Dr. Capogna before and had been very happy with the level of care we received. On my most recent visit I did not feel like I received the same level of care as in the past. The doctor popped his head into the exam room door to ask about location of my pain in order to be able to request correct X-ray images. Once X-rays were done he came in, discussed them with me VERY briefly, prescribed medication, told me if I was not feeling better in 3 weeks to call the office and we would figure out the next step. Then just like that my visit was over. The doctor did not exam me (only my X-ray.) Dr. Capogna is very knowledgeable and I have never had any issues with him before. Perhaps I saw him in a bad day, but that doesn’t help me. I will definitely go back again based on my previous visits, but if my future visits are similar to my most recent visit I would have to consider a new doctor.

There was no waiting. Quick visit, quick X rays, quick exam. Pleasantly surprised.

I’ve seen the doctor three times over the last few years. Each time the front desk staff checks you in efficiently and quickly. I see the doctor with minimal wait time. He’s an excellent and professional physician.

Dr Capogna was incredibly knowledgeable and sincere to my needs. He explained everything very clearly and was able to answer all of my questions. He made me feel validated for my pain and was able to make a clear and concise diagnosis while at the same time, he remedied my condition. I would recommend him to anyone.

He has done gel to my knee a year ago and was excellent. I went back this time so I can enjoy my cruise on Monday and he injected cortisone which made me walk better without pain. Thank God I met such a doctor.

Bad situation but a pleasant experience given the 12 plus weeks of recovery. Took a bad fall resulting in an overnight stay in hospital. Called Dr. Copoga morning after and was seen same day, put in proper brace, full explanation of injury, what happens in surgery, and path back to healthy. Had pre op testing scheduled before leaving for next day, surgery day after that. Post surgery calls next day from Dr. until he got me! Follow up appointment, nurse started to prep to take out stitched- then said Dr. wants to do it. Left Dr. knowing my path to rehab. Getting better everyday and a shout out to Chris Turuta, PT and his Huntington PT team. Could not feel better care for with this group.

Dr. Capogna was very personable and really made it easy to accept the diagnosis. Appreciated his straight forwardness without the 'my way or the highway approach to surgery.' Legitimate concerns were answered and very comfortable with being treated by him in the future.
