Dr. Brian Dorner, MD

I wanted to wait u til I was completely healed before doing my review. I am currently 12 weeks post op of my breast augmentation with Dr Dorner, and I am ecstatic with my results and with the entire dorner staff as a whole. From the moment I scheduled my consultation, through my surgery and post op, everyone was amazing. My surgery consultant walked me through the entire process, while making sure I made the right decisions. She answered my calls and emails quickly, and I never felt like an inconvenience. Dorner was great, I met with him multiple times, he was always honest and professional. You can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. The day of surgery, I felt at ease, and never questioned my decision. He even called me the night of surgery to make sure I was feeling okay! I can say I had a previous surgery from another surgeon, and this experience was the complete opposite and made me realize there are good doctors out there, and your outcome is dependent on this!

I have known Dr. Brian K. Dorner (Dorner Plastic Surgery) for a long time and it is unfortunate I have to write this. But he did the unthinkable, he actually cut a hole clear through my nose leaving a visible and offensive scar on the outside of my nose. This is devastating. I trusted Dr. Dorner and opted to have a follow-up surgery and felt assured my concerns would be addressed and this time he placed sutures all around the outside on my nose. So now in addition to my scar I have more scars, divots and track marks on the right side, left side and across my nose. These facial scars have impacted my quality of life. Your face is precious. Please choose your surgeon very carefully.

Dr. Dorner (or his patient coordinators) refused to offer me surgery based on a non-existent 'risk' posed by hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome (a condition 1 in 5000 people have). When asked what risk he thought it poses, his patient coordinators refused to answer, saying 'he knows all about all 13 types of Ehlers Danlos' (something even specialists in EDS wouldn't claim) and he would refuse to operate on any of them. Clearly, someone just googled 'Ehlers Danlos surgery risk' and saw all the scary articles about type IV and type VII, and aortic root distension, and took that to mean anyone with stretchy skin will have their heart explode on the operating table. Or, maybe someone just doesn't like trans women.Either way, this is completely unprofessional and has no basis in medical fact.

Had my breast augmentation in 2013.... My Video Testimony is still online, I was the first one to do one. I was so excited to see it was still up!!! I LOVE the job he did and I am defiantly going back!! I recommend him to everyone!!

Not only is Dr. Dorner a skilled plastic surgeon, he is also a very compassionate person. I was in a bike accident and had a two inch gash in the center of my forehead, I am a female and was told by the ER attending physician that I should have a plastics close this wound. He paged the surgeon on call and he would not come in. I know someone in the medical field and she showed Dr Dorner a photo of my face with the huge gash, he worked me into his schedule and stitched the wound with all three layers of skin closed so not to have the puckered looking scar. The top layer alone had 12 stitches. My forehead scar looks great and everyone that saw the photo of my wound is amazed, as am I and my husband of the outcome. I am eternally grateful to this talented and caring man!

I had 3 Vivace treatments. I asked upfront about the possibility of losing facial fat from the radio frequency. I was assured that was not a possibility. People ask me if I've lost a lot of weight (no, I'm actually a bit heavier). My skin sags and my eyes look sunken and hollow. Wrinkles are more prominent because my skin is so much looser. Even my complexion and age spots are worse. Looking at my before photos I looked so young. I easily look 10 years older. I'm overwhelmed with regret.

Terrible surgeon. Do NOT trust this man. There are please of good plastic surgeons in Columbus. He is definitely not one of them.

Dr. Dorner and his staff provided in depth information to prepare me for my procedure. When a question arose post op Dr. Dorner answered the call, not a machine. I am beyond impressed and happy with the care I have received and continue to receive. They are kind, knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. If you don’t go to Dr. Dorner then you are probably going to the wrong Doctor. Dr. Dorner’s AMAZING work is a gift to all of us who wish to pursue cosmetic surgery. Dr. Dorner and his staff have done two procedures on me. Both times they have been very compassionate towards my needs, professional, and friendly. I am, by far, happy with the outcome of his work. His nurse practitioner, Sonia, is extremely talented, as well. She went out of her way to make sure my last visit was as comfortable and rewarding as possible. I am SO happy with the breast augmentation Dr. Dorner did. From the second I started the process I knew I was in good hands. He took the time to talk to me about all my options, and really made sure that what I was doing was the best FOR ME. His staff is also superb! They were attentive to my needs and made me feel secure in my decisions. I never felt rushed or like they were "blowing me off." Dr. Dorner answered my calls after hours and went above and beyond to make sure I was ok after surgery.

I had a breast lift and augmentation and could not be happier. My breasts are exactly like I wanted them. After having large, sagging, asymmetrical breasts my whole life, it's wonderful to now be proud of what I have. I also did the ultherapy and love the results - subtle, but but still effective. The office staff is very nice as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Dorner for a few years now. His office staff is amazing. I love Angie for fillers and botox. Christine for skincare is wonderful, she is so sweet and really listens and recommends specific products for my skin. Dr. Dorner is amazing at what he does and really on top of follow up appointments and perfecting his work. I would highly recommend.
