Dr Dowdell office is wonderful, they make you feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Dr Dowdell has really helped me over the years, he is truly trying to help me.

Horrible, I have never been so utterly disgusted with a health care provider in my life. There is a constant turn over off staff and other doctors. Dr. Dowdell is dismissive, arrogant barely speaks and leaves the room. He cannot remember what procedures he has and has not done. Literally barely looks at you, does not review any records. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with him and his practice. Please find another practice because you will end up far worse from just the stress alone

Dr. Dowdell is a no-show for 90% of his appointments, sending his assistant to almost every appt. Those 90% are referred to as drug-refill appts. Once a month, for years, no medical exam. When he does show up, he's cold and distracted and condescending.

In my experience as a health care provider myself I found this doctor has the compassion of a King cobra. it takes over an hour to fill out his pages and pages of forms. As a new patient in real pain I felt I was being interrogated and then with a snap judgment I was thrown out the door . If you want a caring compassionate physician to treat your pain forget about this man . The only kindness I received was not being billed for the office visit. He didn't even check my urine analasis .

This is/was the Dr who performed my mom's back surgery, 10/5/16. She's been in severe pain since. It's so bad she can't get up and use the bathroom, or do every day things. At follow up 11/10, nurse says Dr doesn't want to speak with mom, explaining issue w/ lawyer and financial situations, even though LOP in place. Mom left because of Dr refusal to see her. Receptionist calls and states mom is discharged for leaving. Dr continues to prescribe pain meds but will not see mom. I am sickened by Dr

I HAD MY FIST APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED ON 9/16 16 AT 3: 45 PM ARRIVED AT 3.PM TO FILL PAPER WORK AND WAS ESCORTED INTO AN EXAM ROOM AT 4:50.OVER AN HOUR LATER. AFTER A BRIEF INTERVIEW WITH AN AIDE,I WAS LET TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER HOUR IN THE EXAM ROOM WHEN I QUESTIONED THE DELAY SOMEONE THAT SEEMED TO BE IN CHARGE CAME INTO THE ROOM SEEMINGLY ANNOYED AND STATED THIS WAS NORMAL IF I WANTED TO SEE A SPECIALIST AND GAVE ME TWO CHOICES.RESCHEDULE OR LEAVE I OPTED FOR THE SECOND.
