Amazing results
I had the ProAct procedure done early January and two follow up appointments. I was amazed at the results. Dr Flynn and all his staff were exceptional. They all get a big thank you from me.

During my appointment with Dr. Flynn, he barely made eye contact mostly looking at his computer screen instead of trying to connect with his patient. He was cold, appeared uninterested in my concerns, and had a very flat personality. When I had a couple additional questions at the end of the visit, he was clearly annoyed and brushed off my concerns without really answering the questions. I'm sure he's a great surgeon, but he is severely lacking in the people skills department.

I so miss swing Dr Flynn. After multiple surgeries to remove infected mesh..caused by another provider, I am doing so good its remarkable. I owe my life to this VERY gifted surgeon . I have even thought about making an appointment just to let him see I'm fairly "normal"! IF I have any more issues I will be in to see him ASAP

He healed me - what more can I say? I hugged him when I was released from his care - which I think made him uncomfortable but what can I say? I'm a hugger!

A prostatectomy and followup radiation left my husband with severe incontinence. The quality of his life is now greatly improved thanks to the placement of an artificial urinary sphincter by Dr. Flynn and his team. Dr. Flynn is professional, responsive and compassionate. He fully understood what my husband was experiencing and reassured him throughout the process. We feel very grateful for his excellent care.

I agree with others who said that it seemed that Dr. Flynn lacked basic empathy. I'm guessing surgery is what he loves to do. It seemed clear to me that he did not love talking to me about my garden variety stress incontinence. I felt I was an irritation and that because of my age (40s) and the fact that I have kids, stress incontinence is no big deal, to be expected, and that if I did more Kegels I would be all set. I would imagine that he would find doing Kegels well -- with most of a male hand and a speculum inserted -- a challenge. So I was told I "failed" my Kegel test. Thereby I can extrapolate that because I am failure at Kegels, this is all ultimately my fault. Essentially I left 1) glad to have it confirmed that I don't have a prolapse 2) ashamed of my age, body, my womanhood, and my Kegel "incompetence". Screw that. I'm headed to an all-women's practice next week. Unless you need the surgery he specializes in or you feel like you've being cancelled, find someone else.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Flynn. He was the doctor on call at UC Health where I had undergone a partial nephrectomy two days before. I called for help in determining whether the symptoms I was experiencing were normal or whether I needed to go back to the ER, where I had spent 5 hours the night before. Rather than help me, Dr. Flynn made it clear that I was wasting his time and pretty much hung up on me. He was patronizing, rude and outright cruel. I was terrified and needed a doctor's help. Dr. Flynn not only did not help me, he humiliated me. I would never recommend this man to anybody, regardless of his experience and qualifications. Grow a heart Dr. Flynn.

I had a ureteral injury during a hysterectomy. It was accidentally cut. So I was referred to Dr Flynn for a reconstruction surgery. When I arrived to see him I had been through months of pain and suffering. I also had a pelvic abscess from the original surgery that had to heal and I had a nephrostomy tube in my left kidney. I was desperate to have the injury repaired. Dr Flynn was able to fix it and I truly feel like I got my life back. I am so grateful for his wisdom and knowledge.

Dr. Flynn is an outstanding Urologist. He thoroughly diagnosed my problem with a series of tests and machines I had never heard of and determined a plan of action. He successfully performed a urethroplasty which significantly changed my quality of life for the better. He follows through and follows up and always takes as much time as needed to answer questions, etc. He explains things clearly in a simple to understand way. He is personable and likable and has a good sense of humor. He will always be honest about your situation and his capacity to help. I've come to learn over 15 years of dealing with them that urology issues can be very difficult to deal with. Dr. Flynn has made the long trips to see him worthwhile and I would highly recommend him.

In 2014 Dr. Flynn almost killed me. He cut my inferior vena cava. The trauma team was able to save me while Flynn was telling my husband that I wouldn't make it through the night. During the entire 10 days I had to stay in the hospital, he did not set foot in my room. He didn't even apologize for nearly killing me.

I was hopeful of regaining a life back after several botched surgeries. His surgery didn't go as well as planned but wouldn't admit it. He didn't provide adequate follow up care. I saw him recently and told me there is nothing he can do to help and to not even bother coming back. All he cares about is doing surgery and nothing else. He is very cold and unempathetic. He left me in far worse pain now than I ever was before he touched me. He even wrote untrue things in my records. Do not recommend.

An absolutely gifted surgeon! He is a perfectionist who tackles the most challenging and difficult cases successfully. Dr. Flynn greatly improved my life with three different surgeries, which included totally rebuilding kinked ureters and eventual placement of an artificial urinary sphincter. This A.U.S. has allowed me almost complete control over my previous incontinence. I am grateful for Dr. Flynn's skillful hands and complete focus. He is the best of the best!

I would like to express extreme gratitude to Dr. Flynn and his excellent staff of residents, nurses, and medical assistants. I had surgery for a complex ureteral stricture in January of 2017. A year later, I am grateful beyond words that the surgery was a complete and total success. I am now enjoying a quality of life that was not previously possible. Dr. Flynn is a specialist and a professional in every sense and I highly recommend him. S.S. Corrales, NM

Dr. Flynn and his team were quite thorough and professional and anxiety releasing. Although the whole procedure and recovery were quite an adventure, the resolution of the RUF and resultant UTIs have been a blessing. I am happy to have found a solution/resolution to my life long malady. I am looking forward to a new paradigm in life.

I did leave a review and it has been removed from the survey, It was not favorable to Dr. Flynn and so it was removed from the site. Why is the survey here if only the great reviews are left on the site? you want the truth then leave the truth on this site. I went in for a diagnostic test which was never explained to me. I was told to schedule surgery that was not explained tossed a picture to show the surgery. said that was what he would do nothing else. very rude to me. Very disappointed.
