He was always happy.

Dr. Gogel performed an emergency radical nephrectomy on me following my diagnosis with clear cell renal carcinoma. Dr. Gogel removed an almost nerf football sized tumor, my left kidney, spleen, multiple cancerous lymph nodes, and tissue associated with what Pathology evaluated as Stage 3 Grade 4 renal cell carcinoma. Dr. Gogel literally saved my life. I thank God for using Dr. Gogel as his life saving instrument. I receive post-op treatments every 3 weeks for 1 year, and I try to visit and thank Dr. Gogel each time I have an opportunity to see him. Dr. Gogel treats me like a 'family friend' and provides me with so much hope and care. I am so thankful that God put Dr. Gogel in my life ... and used his wonderful surgical skills to give me a chance to be a better and more appreciative person on the other side of my cancer journey. I truly love Dr. Gogel.

Dr. Gogel was wonderful!! He was professional but cheerful and made me laugh during office visits but when it came time for surgery he was all professional and he did a fantastic job. Not one problem. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Gogel was recommended by my PCP and before calling him, my wife and I checked him out as best that we could. My PCP suspected a small growth on my pancreas and we knew pancreatic cancer is usually fatal. Dr. Gogel set up more definitive tests and was able to set up and appointment with another excellent doctor skilled in sampling the growth which tested benign. follow up tests showed no growth so we are currently in a monitoring stage to confirm there is no further growth. Appreciated Dr. Gogel's straight forward and clear explanations breaking down unfamiliar medical terms and cautious approach and ability to determine the easiest way to sample the growth and also to recommend the best Dr. to obtain the sample in a simple yet necessarily highly skillful manner. Very satisfied to get a benign diagnoses with what appears to me very minimal costs.

Dr. Gogel has done all three of my surgeries. The most recent was this year. He always takes time to explain the procedure, and answer any questions. On the day of my surgery he and his team were amazing. His office is easy to make an appointment with and everyone is always friendly. I highly recommend him and his team!
