My doctor moved out of the area so I started seeing Dr Harrison 2 years ago. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. He listens to me and we come up with a plan that works for me. He helped me lose 25 pounds and lower my cholesterol. I can contact him through My Chart any time. He's the best!

I see the reviews on here for Dr. Brian Harrison are quite dated, so it is time for a more recent review. We just moved here to Benton on July 31st, 2024, and I needed to establish a relationship with a new primary care physician. I chose Dr. Brian Harrison in Benton, IL. Unfortunately, this has turned out to be a disaster to my health and my continued care. When I first went to him - he asked me why I was there. I found that very rude and lacking any bedside manner. Obviously, I am new to the area and needed to find a new PCP. When I told him about my issues with severe spine pain it has turned out to be a battle with him each time, I need a medication refill. I am on pain medications for my pain during this transition to a new hometown and needed some support until I can get into a Pain Mgmt. Center for continued treatment. He has absolutely refused. Time to move on to a more caring doctor with empathy and understanding. Tread lightly and do not expect much from him.

I went to see Dr. Harrison for the first time due to the fact that most doctors have several P.A.' s, getting a different one each time and having to go through my whole history over again which I don't like. As for myself, I want a personal relationship my physician since my health is important to me. Dr. Harrison takes the time to listen and does not rush me. He is attentive and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him as a doctor to anyone. His staff is very kind and efficient as well
