Adult Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH)
Dr. Hoh operated on me for NPH and had a dramatic result. Prior to the operation I was unable to walk without a cane and was incontinent. After PT and OT baseline exam, a spinal tap was made to see if the draining of the brain fluid would relive my symptoms'. Once the tap showed it would he placed a drain shunt in my brain. After the placement I could walk unaided and my incontinence stopped. I have been returned to normal for over two months now.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE JAN 2023!
This surgeon just did my good friends' surgery. #1: The PA told my friend that she'd be in the hospital for 2 days so her sister flew in from out of state AND SHE WAS DISCHARGED WITHIN HOURS THE SAME DAY! (Nothing like post op stress!) #2: They put an excessive amount of iodine on both arms, and her entire back: why for surgery on her skull and under her R breast; and why so much!? #3: The PA told my friend (who said she asked the surgeon) that Dr. Hoh would cut a portion if her hair *carefully* and BARBARICALLY CUT ALL THE WAY TOT THE TOP OF MY FRIENDS' HEAD! She's been very sad/upset over this and it was uncalled for! #4: HIPAA VIOLATION: Dr. Hoh's staff mailed my friend someone else's appointment info with the other patient's name! #5: My friend never met with Dr. Hoh, he's apparently too busy for his own surgical consults (!!!) and #6: no one advised my friend that an incision would be made under her R breast for a tube so surprise, on top of everything else! WISH I COULD POST PICS

Dr. Brian Hoh thankfully scheduled me within days of reviewing my CT scan. He came highly recommended by a friend and I am happy to pass on my strong recommendation as well. Dr. Hoh proved to be a caring and honest communicator, personable, a great listener and empathetic to my concerns, and obviously an extremely capable surgeon! My follow-up appointments were always on time. He has been thorough and answered my questions honestly, calmly and encouragingly. I feel blessed to have been in his care for my serious brain aneurysm. He is a miracle worker and saved my life!

I'll highly recommend Dr. Ho to family and friends
I suffered a major brain bleed this past January. My chances of survival were minimal and if I did survive, my quality of life could have been severely compromised. Thanks to Dr. Hoh, I not only survived but am able to do everything that I was able to do before. Dr. Ho has been very caring, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process. Thank you, Dr. Ho.

Dr. Brian Hoh is an outstanding neurosurgeon. My husband had a pronounced occlusion of his left carotid artery, near the temple region. The symptoms he had was occasional loss of vision in his left eye and the pulsating sound in his left ear. He was not a good candidate surgery. Dr Hoh placed six stints, opening the artery, eliminating his frightening symptoms. Dr. Hoh is very professional, but with a very warm, personal demeanor. From the first visit until the last follow up visit, he was always warm, being sure that you understood his explanations. He never made you feel rushed. He always ordered the CT scans just prior to office visit, therefore you got the results immediately. He definitely gets 5 stars. We greatly recommend him. His entire staff is excellent.

Thanks to my amazing surgery by Dr. Brian Hoh of Shands on my cerebral aneurysm with a daughter sac, I am well and recovering. He, his neurology team and Neuro ICU staff are excellent. He found the daughter sac on my cerebral aneurysm September 2020 before it burst which is rare and saved my life! I highly recommend their service!

Dr. Hoh has been truly amazing through the entire process. When we first met him for the initial consultation/diagnosis he was so professional and confident about the procedure and told us how everything would go. His bedside manner is both professional and comforting at the same time. We could not be happier with Dr. Hoh and the way the procedure went. I truly believe he is the best in the business. Brain aneurysms are scary things...Dr. Hoh made it all seem so manageable and easy. I am still in recovery now...and his professionalism and concern has been second to none. I would recommend Dr. Hoh without hesitation of any kind. He truly is a life saver.

After a CT of the brain I found I had a large meningioma , very invasive. I had become symptomatic quickly. My primary neurosurgeon knew this was a case for Dr Hoh based on the severity and location of the tumor. After speaking with him and reviewing the CT , I understood the severity of my problem and the significant risks. I was so impressed by his explanation and I already had researched his credentials. My other doctor said he was the best and I can agree with that now. I am a retired Critical Care nurse, so I feel I am qualified to make a intelligent assessment of my outcomes . I am grateful to be alive and I know it is because of Dr Brian Hoh and his excellent team. Thank YOU !!!

I went to the ER at Shands due to a severe headache. After the test showed I had an aneurysm, that was seeping blood. I was fortunate to have Dr. Hoh as my surgeon. I was sent directly to ICU, had my surgery the following morning, and sent home the following day.
