Very rude should work in research
Dr Korte is the most rude, erogent, unprofessional Dr. If ever dealt with. If he has no patience then maybe he sjould work elsewhere. He should work in research where he's not interacting with patients. Never did answer mine concerns.

Can’t be trusted
My mom began seeing Korte after her primary retired. She was admitted to the hospital with a UTI and released. Without even seeing her the office called that she needed to go back to the hospital for antibiotics and without her knowledge or any explanation had her admitted again. The hospital called me and said they had no idea why or how this happened because her test were clear and it was completely unnecessary. The staff at the office seems incompetent, had her switched before they could do any more harm.

I love Dr. Korte as does the rest of my family. We have been going to him for more than 8 years. And my children have followed. He has always been very knowledgeable, understanding and caring. He is blunt and to the point. But that is what we like about him and yet he still cares. If our insurance did not except him as a doctor on their list we would pay full cost to see him. That is how much we respect him as a great Doctor.

Not very pleased. Looking to check out VA. He would make a good Doctor for people who are not cognoscente and have serious health issues.

As for medical skill, I believe Dr. Korte is very knowledgeable. However, he is an arrogant, condescending, dictatorial individual. My previous PCP had referred me to a specialist I had used for years, and with whom I follow up with annually. The visit with the specialist was due after changing to Dr. Korte. When I told Dr. Korte I would be seeing the specialist for testing, he told me if I did I would pay for it OUT OF MY OWN POCKET because he was not going to approve it. During my visit he complained about much of the office help and medical assistants and things such as minor spelling errors, they made. . I was told I would need to put on a gown for a body check for skin cancer. I had my mammogram 5 days prior to this visit. Without telling me, or asking me about a breast exam, he performed one. I felt this totally unnecessary and inappropriate without advising he would be performing it. There are other physician choices at this Wellmed Clinic I would consider.

Dr. Korte has been my doctor for eight years and I am always satisfied with the care that I receive. Dr. Korte takes time to listen to concerns and tells you exactly what you need to do for your health needs. I feel confident that if I ever had anything major happen he is the doctor that I would want to care for me. His assistant Terri is amazing as well. You totally feel taken care of and the utmost concern is show each time I go to this office!
