Dr. Brian Markle, MD

I was given a script for a colonoscopy prep. My insurance covered a different comparable prep. The pharmacy contacted his office 3 times and I did 2 times. Nurse finally said that’s what Dr wants you to have. I ended up paying $140.00 out of pocket. While on the table before procedure I asked the Dr about it- he said I could have used the one my insurance company allowed - his office ignored it and did not allow the pharmacy to change to prep that was covered under my insurance. To make matters worse, they charged me an additional $400.00 “new patient fee” that I had to pay out of pocket. I had seen this Dr within the last 5 years - Still have same insurance but office says it was too long since last visit. I was too ill to argue. Run from this Dr.

A good experience all around. Great staff and Dr Markle has a very good way of making you feel at ease.

This is the BEST doctor I have been to for my UC. He took his time putting me on the proper medication. Doing tests, etc. I waited a long time to find a doctor like him. I haven't felt this great in 5 years! Don't let his office staff discourage you from seeing him. I recommend him to everyone who needs a good gastroenterology doctor.

He is great but his staff is RUDE! THIS WILL IMPACT HIS PATIENTS. WE DONT FEEL LIKE WE ARE A CONCERN IN HIS OFFICE. HE SHOULD KNOW THIS

I called his office to schedule an appointment. The person who answered "Virginia" was very rude from the beginning. She told me that they did not accept my type of insurance. I asked her who they referred to with my type of insurance. She said "no one" and hung up on me. I called back, and she answered. I asked to speak with the office manager, and she hung up. I called back again, and she didn't even speak and hung up on me. I called back again, and she refused to let me speak w/ the off. mgr.
