Absolutely Horrendous
This is, by far, the worst physician and physician's office that I have ever experienced. On my first visit, I explained to Dr. McMorrow that I was vomiting blood. He looked at me like I had two heads and was totally crazy. However, following the endoscopy, he confirmed that I was, in fact, vomiting blood (which I already knew). He spent very little time talking to me about my condition. I returned for a follow up and he would not conduct the endoscopy because I did not have a photo ID. His office manager claimed that it is a Medicare requirement. I am not a Medicare recipient, paid all of Dr. McNorrow's bills associated with the first endoscopy, and am unaware of any law that requires one to produce a photo ID to receive an endoscopy. Dr. McMorrow is definitely not worried about the Hippocratic Oath or any patient. I wish I would have read these reviews before going to him. Definitely an epic fail!

A really caring doctor
He had done 2 colonoscopies for me but when I began to have more problems and had to go to the ER, he became very active in my treatment. He is informative and excellent at explaining the various test results. He as also called a couple times to follow up on medication and treatment results. Dr. McMorrow has earned my trust. He's an excellent doctor who I feel really cares for his patience and field of expertise.

Never has enough time to explain any of the results from procedures or tests. Has too many patients and not enough time.

Used my weight as an excuse to do nothing for severe IBS symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, severe cramping, and diarrhea all day long. Did a few tests and said it was just my weight. I found another specialist and not only did he give me medications to keep my IBS-D under control, that allowed me to change my diet without severe pain. Lost over 130lbs. Had my symptoms and issues been treated and not just put down to weight I wouldn't have had to suffer so long. I don't recommend this doctor.

Have had ibs all my life. I've learned gastroenterologists do procedures and tests and give results. You rarely have follow up visits. Dr. Mcmorrow is no exception. He does however do more testing than others. When you have a chronic illness, you need follow ups. Maybe some day they'll figure it out.

I have never reviewed a doctor but felt I should save someone else the trouble of dealing with someone that is so unprofessional. He will leave you worrying about tests results for several days/weeks without giving you any info. Once he's completed your treatment don't expect to get any follow up to let you know if there is anything else you need to do to complete your regimen. I wouldn't step foot in this office ever again!

This doctor ensures that you get all avenues checked and errors on the side of caution and while he is a good doctor, he has bad bedside manner and is not the best listener. His staff however is amazing. They have made sure that my remicade treatments are super low cost ( I mean 5 dollars!) with the assistance of a gap service. I have always had a super fast turn around time with any requests and they are always friendly and timely.

Dr. McMorrow performed two colonoscopy procedures on me in 2013. At that time, he indicated he saw a pre-cancerous growth near my appendix and recommended immediate surgery. I always get second opinions when surgery is recommended and found a Dr. in Florida to perform the second opinion. To date, I have not had surgery and the growth that was supposedly there has not been observed now after two colonoscopy's and a CAT scan performed by my Florida doctor. I certainly recommend second opinions
