Arrogant and Rude
This doctor was recommended by our pcp. I have been suffering from much pain after a thorachotemy. My husband had done a massive amount of research and found that my symptoms matched inner costal neuralgia. When he asked Dr. Meek about it, he said 'you be the husband, and I'll be the doctor' and didn't even listen to what he had to say.

He’s the Best!
He’s very Smart and Caring. Listens and always has the answers quickly! I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. He put a Spinal Stimulator in my back which has made my life so much easier! I definitely recommend.

Forget about ever seeing Dr Meek himself. Appointments are booked for months. Staff is unfriendly and not helpful. I have a rare condition that causes exhausting pain and there’s no help from this place. If I wanted to go to a nurse practitioner I would look one up and go. They’ll also hold your medication hostage until you make an appointment that takes forever to get. Terrible operation here. Apparently Dr Meek does not understand the importance of intractable pain sufferers needed access to a pain doctor. Ridiculous

Have only had two visits with Dr. Meek but I can tell you he has genuine concern & care for his patients and wants to help them. Both Dr. Meek and his staff are great. The office seems to be highly efficient. Just had my first lumbar injection today & hoping for a favorable outcome. Dr. Meek explained the entire procedure well & I knew exactly what to expect. He made the whole process as pain free as possible. I would highly recommend him if you need a pain management doc. He comes recommended by my neurosurgeon. In fact my neurosurgeon's quote was "if I needed to see a pain management doctor I'd go to Dr. Meek". That was good enough for me...and the rest is history.

Hello Tina, thank you for the wonderful feedback!

I had horrible pain as a result of a bulging disc. I've used Advanced Bone and Joint in the past for other issues and have been very happy. With my disc issue I didn't hesitate to visit ABJ again. Dr. Meek handled my situation with professionalism and concern. I made 3 visits to the office over a 6 week period and am happy to report I'm pain free. Dr. Meek easily gets 5 plus stars. I highly recommend him.

I was trying to get help with my chronic pain because of my neuropathy and RA also a bad L5 vertebrae. I wish I would have never seen him!! He kept insisting that I needed antidepressants and other nerve meds even though I told him I wasn't depressed and the meds actually made me feel worse! He told me to wait in the Lobby and then I was charged for TRESPASSING! What kinda Dr. Would do that? This is a true story! I still have the same problem with my pain!! I wish I would have never seen him!

I started seeing him for a disc bulge and leg pain. Three shots and I am feeling better so far. He is very understanding and a great doctor who I would trust. I've had many bad experiences with other doctors in past and it is a relief to know there are some good ones out there still. The whole staff is very friendly and generally care about your well being.

I was experiencing back pain on a continuous basis for a very long time. Sometimes the pain was so extreme that I would be flat on the floor, not able to move and crying my eyes out. I went to Dr. Meek one time (YES--ONE TIME!!) for a shot and now I am experiencing no or very little pain. Why didn't I do this sooner?

I was his patient for a year and at first I thought it was a good match. I have fibromyalgia and have chronic pain. I had low back pain from an accident and also had pinched nerve in neck and problem with disc. . After about 5 months Dr. Meek wanted me to go to Washington University for pain management therapy but my insurance was not going to cover it. He lost patience with me telling him that & was very rude to me in front of my husband. My husband & I were very upset about how he acted.

Dr. Meek listened to my issues and then worked with me to find the best possible solution to help my pain. He uses the most conservative route first so I didn't waste time, energy, or money. Truly one of the best experiences I've had with a physician in a long time.
