Dr. Brian Orr, MD

Dr. Orr was an answer to prayer. My journey with him began with a large kidney stone blocking my ureter that was causing damage. Through this whole process Dr. Orr has been understanding, informative, and supportive. He is highly knowledgable but always explained everything clearly and presented me with my options. He answered questions and helped me figure out what was best for me. After an insurance glitch pushed a test out he went above and beyond to meet with me so I wouldn't be worrying about results over the holidays. Between Dr. Orr and his nurse Emily, I am informed of next steps, test results, and receive answers to my questions. I've had MANY appointments with him (one being a telehealth) and always come away reassured with a plan. I am so thankful and cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Orr has been my urologist for around a year now. I have a complicated case. Before I was referred to Dr. Orr I was in and out of hospital ERs and being told my flank pain was not due to the kidney stones. And was referred to urology where I saw 3-4 other urologists. Before I finally had enough and asked a better doctor. I thank God everyday I did. He has performed around 4 surgeries for just my kidney stones on the left side. Answers were inconclusive as to why I was still having pain. He sat with me and explained everything to me. Making sure I understood. After the prior surgery to the one today. I sought out pain management, and had. CT and MRI of my spine completed. CT showed the stone, MRI did not show anything wrong with my spine. I tried a nerve block with pain management that did not do anything. Finally Dr. Orr sat down and said we could move forward with the extensive surgery which was completed today. It was not as bad as we thought. He’s amazing!!

I had a large blockage and he saved my life

I was seen by Dr. Orr for kidney stone removal in both kidneys. I had quite a large kidney stone in the right kidney. I was very nervous, Dr. Orr has such a calm disposition about him and after he explained the procedure/ surgeries to both my husband and me, it helped to keep me from being so anxious. He answered all questions we had and continued to do so and made sure we understood. I had to stay in the hospital and he came and checked in on me to see how I was feeling. He seems like a very genuine good person and he is a good doctor. I would recommend anyone with urological needs to go see him. Also, I want to add his assistant Emily is very kind as well and returned all my phone calls in a timely manner.

Dr. Orr is a fantastic surgeon. He removed a huge kidney stone from me and did an amazing job. He was able to remove it all in one surgery, and based on the size, he thought it may need two surgeries. He was very thorough and went through all the options with me before surgery and never tried to push me one way or another. He is kind, personable, and truly cares about my well being. and for that, I am thankful. He is top notch, and I would recommend him highly to anyone.
