Dr. Perkinson is excellent. After reviewing my X-rays, he was able to determine the source of my knee pain. I’ll look forward to knee replacement in the coming year.

Dr. Perkinson
Dr Perkinson is amazing. He is caring, professional and incredible in his field! I would highly recommend Dr. Perkinson. He was easy to understand and took great care while sussing out my issue. I already feel so much better! He is knowledgeable, caring and friendly; wonderful person.

Dr. Brian Perkinson has provided OUTSTANDING patient care, with a gentle, kind, respectful super knowledgeable approach, with overall perfect bedside manner during EVERY medical appointment I've had with him pre and post op of my anterior arthroplasty. Resulting in my awesome recovery. As a result of his efforts to provide a plethora of treatment options best suited for my individual needs, his genuine care for my well-being has indeed enhanced my quality of life. Outstanding physician
Dr. Perkinson was recommended by a friend. At my first visit, he answered all my questions in a way that I understood. He took his time and did not seem hurried. After my operation, I found that he had described what I would experience very well. It went just as he said it would. That was very reassuring. Rachel, his assistant was just as good. All the staff at Bone and Joint were friendly and unhurried. I was so pleased that I am having my other knee done there as well. They deserve 5 stars.

1st office visit with Dr Perkinson
Everyone in the office from the front desk, the nurses and xray techs were very courteous and professional. I was amazed at how quickly everything was done. Dr Perkinson was very thorough in explaining everything. I will definitely continue going to this office.

I highly recommend the BJI of Franklin
I have always had a great experience going to Dr. Perkinson at the BJI in Franklin, TN. Not having to spend 1-2 hours at the office is a plus! But also, because of the way they handle their business, Dr. Perkinson is able to give me his complete attention, and he has an excellent bedside manor. My wife was contemplating a knee replacement surgery with her joint doctor, who she wasn’t real thrilled with. I convinced her to go see Dr. Perkinson, and he wound up doing her surgery and 13 months later, she is so glad that she switched doctors. I can’t imagine that we will go anywhere else but the BJI for our joint problems!

Would definitely recommend!!
Dr. Perkinson did a left hip replacement for me 7 years ago while he was at Vanderbilt. He used an anterior approach and I was walking & doing stairs the night of surgery, home the next day. I now need a right hip replacement. Because the outcome from the left surgery was exceptional, I decided that Dr. Perkinson was the surgeon to go to. I’m scheduled for surgery in about 6 weeks. He explains everything and answers questions without rushing through things. You feel like you’re his only patient that day!

Excellent Doctor
Very efficient treatment. No waiting. Meeting with Dr Perkinson was very pleasant and he had reviewed my X-rays in advance. I requested a cortisone injection in my knee after he explained what the X-rays indicated would help my knee pain, and he promptly gave me the shot. I had been in meetings before with my husband who is also a patient and Dr Perkinson has always been wonderful.

Bone-on-bone arthritic knees
The facility is beautiful and clean ! Staff was knowledgeable, efficient, polite and just soooo nice. The weighing in, X-Rays and all the preliminary 'stuff' that needs to be done before you see the doctor were fast and seamless. Dr. Perkinson is the first doctor I've seen for my knees that has not immediately told me I needed knee replacement surgery. Although he told me that eventually surgery would be required, he gave options. He thoroughly reviewed the options with me and we made a plan. I appreciate Dr. Perkinson and his straightforward attitude and honesty. I trust him and will be back when surgery is required.
