My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Rambarran's since he first started at Western Urology in Sanborn. I have a history of chronic kidney stones. It is easy to make appointments and get in quickly to see the doctors or one of the PAs or NPs. The staff along with Dr. Rambarran are friendly, caring and compassionate. I recommend him to all my friends and family who live in Western NY.

He removed a huge spermatocele and hydrocele from me. The surgery was quick and easy. A few hours later and I'm in no pain. I'm very impressed. I like this guy a lot and so happy I ended up with him.

I'm thinking some of these reviews are fake because they simply don't square with what I encountered, and I am a pro at evaluating doctors. This doctor ran a test that nobody else had run. A test I didn't even know existed. The results were positive. Dangerously positive. I went to the followup with trepidation, only to find this doctor stating "not my lane". In short, he was only looking for an adrenal tumor as he is a surgeon (his words). The fact that 2 life critical hormones were dangerously low, rather than high, indicating a tumor, was something he refused to address, immediately seeking to refer me out. In short, I found more information on the web, including how dangerous my condition is, what it is called, and how to get to the Mayo Clinic, in the time it took me to be deflected by a doctor with limited experience, and no concern for the health of the patient. Doctors like this are scary.

I am deeply impressed by the professionalism and courtesy shown by the doctor and his staff under circumstances that could easily rob a patient of their self respect and dignity. He responded to my medical needs in a timely fashion since on my first visit I was in severe pain.
