Dr. Rothschild removed a melanoma that I was unaware of having. I originally went in for a different skin issue. Before he started, he explained the procedure, even drew a diagram for me, so I was well prepared. I do NOT like to hear what is going on step by step, so I asked him to just take care of the surgery. He communicated quietly with his nurse, and checked in with me a couple of times, which was perfect for me. Exactly what I asked for and needed! His nurse was equally supportive before, during, and after the surgery. Both Kaiser dermatologists I have seen in my first year as a new Kaiser patient have been excellent - professional and personable.

Always kind, caring and quick to get you more extensive treatment if needed. Found I had skin cancer and he had me with a surgeon within the week to have it removed. Very through in follow up to look for additional cancer spots before they become malignant
