Dr. Brooke Wolf, MD

Trust me. My experience was horrific. My detailed review was denied. Do not schedule with her.

I saw Dr. Wolf for about six months, and I found her to be very insensitive. One day I described my extreme distress and anxiety over my child’s persistent bathroom accidents at school continuing into kindergarten, and her advice to me was, “Well, eventually he’ll stop once he humiliates himself”. I never returned after that, and neither she nor her office staff called to inquire why I was lost to follow up. Very unprofessional, unhelpful, and thoughtless. Definitely would not recommend Dr. Wolf.

I have been seeing Dr. Wolf for years. She has helped me thru the 8 year and death of my daughter, the years of my husband's Alzheimer's and my daughter in laws death. She worked well with me on my anti-depresant's until we found one that worked well for me. When I was caring for my parents prior to their death she has helped me with anxiety. There are times that I have to wait while she works with the patient prior to me but I know their problems are as important as mine. I recommend her.

I have been seeing Dr. Wolf for almost 10 years now, true you might haveto wait a little while in the office, but that is because she spends time making sure her patients are getting the treatment they need. Her front desk staff is wonderful and the therapists are fantastic as well.

Dr Wolf is the most kind, concerned, and pleasant psychiatrists I've ever been lucky enough to find. I've seen many over the years and she is wonderful. I would and HAVE recommended her to others many times. Her knowledge and experience is remarkable.

Dr Wolf is very knowledgeable and has great insight. She's helped me a lot. Medicated me well. I owe much of the success of my recovery to a heathy and well adjusted person to her.

I only had two appointments with her, but I feel that she wasn't really listening to me. I needed to be tested for Adult ADD and she never really went over my results with me. Plus, the testing was quick in the office, and then I just had to fill out check lists. Not thorough. I felt like a number, not a person in her office. I chose not to go back. I can't trust her to prescribe medication to me if she hardly got to know me.

She has never had me on time. I have had to leave the waiting room and cancel my appointment because I couldn't afford to miss class. Often the patient before me hasn't gone in before my time. In comparison appointments are brief and brisk. I feared to complain about symptoms because she likes to switch meds a lot, and try new meds that aren't cheap, and she doesn't like generic drugs. And she rarely listens to me: I'm an out lesbian and she keeps telling me to use birth control.
