Outstanding Doctor
I was referred to Dr. Mays by my primary care physician after being diagnosed with diabetes. I have known a number of people who have gone to him and every single one raved about the care they received. Knowing how popular he is, I was very happy when I was able to get in to see him. I was not disappointed! Dr. Mays is professional, kind and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Mays to anyone looking for a endocrinologist.

I like Dr. Mays so far I have no problems with his treatment. He came highly recommend. I had to call the office several times and the nurses were very quick to call me back with an answer not like local doctors. All the staff were very nice no problems with anyone.

This man is awesome! 1st time seeing him & his team yesterday. I was told I had a nodular & needed a biopsy. I was pretty nervous but he settled my nerves and it was over before I knew it. Will definitely go back to him if needed.

I was referred to Dr. Mays due to high thyroid levels. I waited 3 months for the first appointment and then went to him for about a year. I was not at all pleased with the care I got. I would wait nearly a half hour only to have less than five minutes with him. He would ask a question or two and leave without giving me a chance to ask a question. He also did not send blood test results after the first one to my P.A. who referred me. The P.A. and I both finally learned about them only after she called and asked for them, and we found then that my blood tests had shown normal thyroid levels ever since I had been going to him, and he had not revealed that. He did not check the nodules on my thyroid at all in spite of the fact that I had been told earlier that they could be cancerous. He never even palpated them. I canceled my next appointment and did not re-schedule. My P.A. will manage my care, arrange a thyroid ultrasound, and keep me informed. It is a great relief to be going back.

My wife is at her "ending straw". She has been getting the run around since April 5th. She has the referral from her family physician, and after the THIRD CALL to his office, she is no where! I hate to see her getting this run around, because her TOTAL FRUSTRATION reflects to our family life. SOMEONE needs to get their life together...
