Dr Barbour has always been down to earth and able to help me understand what to do to help manage my care. I had a hearing loss issue which was misdiagnosed by MedExpress, but Dr Barbour knew to pursue aggressively with treatment. Only negative is that I usually see rotating interns in Jackson office whose expertise varies. But Dr Barbour reviews their work and provides good oversight.

I've been going to Dr. Barbour for 26 years (I'm in health care, my husband is a physician). He has always shown good medical judgment, keeps up with the latest studies and guidelines, and listens well to what I have to say. It is not every physician who asks "what do you need from me today?" I recommend him highly.

The receptionists are not helpful and talk down to you on the phone-need a better staff. Calling to get an appointment shouldn't be an awful experience.

Very Poor followthrough from staff in communication involving very serious issues. Staff, at best may hold a medical assistant certificate, NO RNS except Sandy, NP whom receives no messages from patients calling reports to Dr. Barbour. Good luck, also with your care if you require complexity.
