Dr. Bruce K, by far, the best urologist! Thorough, patient, educated, an educator! Does not speak down to you. Most of all... supportive! I was so glad I came to him close to 15 years ago. Worth all the wait, worth all the time... worth the best care. Period!

Dr. Kava is a very special person, he saved me from not being able to urinate at all, having to catharize myself 5 times per day and brought me to complete normal function with no Cath erization at all. He is incredibly nice and is the ultimate professional. This man is the answer if you have urological problems.

I've had prostate trouble for years and had seen 4 other urologists. None gave definitive answers. He did. FF a couple years: A blood test showed I had high RBC count and he performed a cystoscopy, sent me for a CT scan and scheduled surgery to remove the growths. The procedure was set up quickly for the following week. He was very comforting with a wonderful bedside manner and knows his trade. I have referred friends to him and will continue to do so. I would not consider seeing anyone else !!!

Dr Kava recently operated on my husband who had been sick for a long time. From our very first visit with Dr Kava, we were able to appreciate his knowledge and dedication to his patients. Beside being a great doctor whom I highly recommend. Dr Kava takes his patients very seriously while showing a great deal of caring and concern. He also takes the time to explain every little detail there is to know. Excellent Doctor and Human Being.

I left work early to make my 4pm appointment at Uhealth, I arrived early but after an hour and half wait STILL was not seen and would not be seen until near 6pm. I walked out in utter disgust and frustration. Go some place else.

I saw Dr. Kava for penile cancer. Not only did he take the time to explain what I had and the d steps we had to take going forward. He is one of the few doctors that truly cares about you. I underwent 3 surgeries with him and not one time did I complain about pain and he was always available Day out night if I needed him. You will not find a more gentle doctor and thorough one. I would recommend this doctor hands down to anyone that requires his services. He will save your life, he saved mine.

I had an issue that had been bothering me "forever" and had not been resolved with another physician. Dr Kava examined me, diagnosed the issue and performed a corrective, surgical procedure a week later. Literally has changed my life for the better. Simply the best!

I finally found a great Urologists after going through 3 in the last 10years.Dr Kava got right to my problem on our first visit.He called me the night before my surgery to make sure I was alright and if I had any questions.I had a couple quick follow ups and he called me after the last one to make sure everything was ok.I have left messages for perscription refills and they are addressed quickly.Dr Kava is a consummate gentleman as well as great doctor.He gets all A's on my grades

Dr. Kava is an outstanding doctor, extremely caring, totally experienced in his practice, especially urology oncology, he saved my life, I am in great gratitude to Dr. Kava. He is the absolute best ever.

Dr Bruce Kava is my doctor since 2009 I cannot be happier with his services and the way he treat me with my problems of kidney and right now with my prostate. I recommend him with pleasure,and hope he can be my doctor for more years. Fantastic person and human bean,UM must be proud of him. I'm 78 years old and thanks God to put Dr Kava in my life.

Dr. Kava is a very knowledgeable and caring professional. He removed a Stage I Carcinoma from my right kidney and performed a TURP procedure. He has been my urologist since 2012 and I cannot be happier with his services and the way he treated me and my family. He has trained several urologist at the University of Miami Health System and he is highly regarded.

Bad. Hard to get an appointment (it can take days,months...). If he cared for his patients he could be a great doctor. His staff is not very helpful. Disappeared in the day of my surgery, scheduled for 3 pm, appeared 4 hours later with no excuse. Run!

Dr. Kava is the greatest.. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer renal cancer a few weeks ago.. He cleared three people off the calendar to perform my surgery two weeks ago. I had my surgery on the 14th of April 2016. On the day of my surgery he was there and very supportive. He's the greatest!! I highly recommend dr kava to whoever has to have cancer..
