Dr. Bruce Le, DO

The nurses and staff at Florida Endoscopy and Surgery Center were wonderful during my recent procedure. Dr. Le answered all my questions and performed the procedure. He explained the results and provided post op information. I was also impressed with the anesthesiologist who made sure I received just the right amount of sedation for my procedure.

Have seen Dr Le since 2019. Went for appt recently for irregular liver numbers on recent bloodwork. Was seen by PA and not Dr Le. In trying to explain my issue she kept focusing on me needing a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I told her I had those done and was told by Dr Le to come back in 10 years. She kept insisting I needed them done. I told her numerous times, I was only there about my blood work. Finally she said I needed to get all this bloodwork done and a liver MRI. Most of the 6 viles of bloodwork were hereditary tests. I specifically asked to see Dr Le for my follow-up visit. Fast forward 3 months....Today I received a letter informing me I was being terminated as a patient and to get another Dr. This is most likely the result of my negative encounter with the PA-Paola Hernandez. Very disappointing.

I’ve been going to dr. Le for years having had different procedures I find him friendly, professional and knowledgeable.I give him five stars for patient care. I’m so glad I found him. He’s the best.

Dr Le saved my life! I have severe UC w/breast cancer. Since 2019, my oncologist took me off Remicade and considering the severity of my UC combined w/cancer, my previous GI abandoned me. For four years, I could not find a GI Dr. that would take my case. I dealt w/sever pain, 8-11 movements a day! Diapers, missed work, house bound and contemplating suicide. God sent me Dr. Le. Our first meeting, he told me he wasn't going to “leave me”. We tried a couple pills; unsuccessfully. On a Friday, Dr. Le called me into his office and told me he wanted to refer me to another GI Dr. in Tampa. The unwillingness of my Oncologist to approve Remicade, and our pill attempts not working, Dr. Le was not sure what else to do. That Monday morning @ 8:30AM Dr. Le’s office called and said he wanted to see me ASAP. He came in so excited and said, “I have been researching ALL WEEKEND! I think I found a solution! Within days, I received my 1st treatment & a complete 180. It's b/c of Dr. Le! He never left me

When there’s a problem, the staff does not want to fix it. They think they know everything and they don’t even know how to run the circus. I thought the physician was kind of understanding, but I was completely wrong. He took the staff side without listening to the patient side truly disappointed that this place was going to be better but I was proven wrong doesn’t even know how to apply diagnosis’s properly on orders, then refuses to fix it. Not fond of physicians like this still stuck with a bill the dr refuse to provide proper documentation I’m a biller and you better staffing

Dr. Le has performed two procedures on me. The office visits I have had with him were cordial and efficient. I have never felt like he was rushing me, ignoring me, or dismissive of me. I believe him to be a decent hardworking fellow.

My husband was a patient. He had to cancel an endoscopy and the follow up appointment due to receiving stent #11. An office Appointment was rescheduled and unfortunately canceled because my husband fell and broke a rib, nose and had a severe concussion. My husband had major Gastro issues on a Friday. Office staff scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. We were told if the issue continues go to the ER and request Dr Le be consulted. We went to the ER. Dr Le refused to see my husband in the hospital due to CANCELED APPOINTMENTS (not no-shows) My husband was inpatient for 3 days before Dr Le informed us he refused to see him. Why did your staff schedule an appointment if my husband was “non compliant” My husband has 11 stents, copd, severe concussion, arthritis…. We were NEVER just irresponsible and didn’t show up for appointments!!!!! We had to cancel!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Le for my Crohn's and he tried me on a new medication. After 6 months it was still not helping so he told me that there was nothing that he could do for me. Ended up having to go to Tampa to USF for treatment because he could not handle anything more complicated than minor digestive disorders.

Dr Le and his staff from start to finish they go above and beyond.. I absolutely love the nurse so informative and the wonderful Dr Le I don't know what i would do without his guidance and care, he's the first gastro Dr who actually took the time to figure out what was wrong.. I have been seeing Dr Le for almost 2 years. He was the only GI dr that fully evaluated my symptoms with diagnostic testing . I at least now know what my problems are and the treatments have been beneficial. He has a tendency to speak very fast but I am gratified that he has open to discuss issues and concerns. I like the fact that he will review test results ie colonoscopy and endoscopy findings.

I have been to 9 FL Dr.s My problems were debilitating. Sometimes, I was in bed for 6 hours a day. It really was life altering. I found one Dr. in Tampa that gave me about a year of relief but then he retired. Others would try a couple of things but didn’t help and gave up. One told me to not come back he had no answers. I never gave up and found Dr Le in my search for yet another Dr. The office staff was gracious and answered all my questions without an attitude. The nurse that took me back for prescreen went over everything meticulously and listened. In comes Dr Le. He listened and took notes. He said we will have to do this in steps. He changed my RX and ordered a common procedure that had never been done by any other Dr. If that didn’t work, we were going to try something else until he found a solution. He did find the proper RX and I am normal for the first time in 15 years. It is such a relief, and I am so thankful for his dedication to his profession. Thank you, Dr. Le.

I would not recommend Dr. Le. Prior to retiring, I worked as a Clinic Manager in a Primary Care clinic. I went to Dr. Le with a clear understanding of the treatment guidelines for my particular condition however Dr. Le insisted I was wrong. Only when I insisted he look up the current guidelines did he agree I was correct. Fast forward 2 months, I received a prescription for my condition and the directions were incorrect. I contacted his office and he insisted again that I was wrong and would not make the change. Fortunately my PCP was aware of the current guidelines and filled the prescription the way 2 other GI Dr’s had prescribed the medication. Medical care should be a mutual effort between the Dr. And the patient not a dictatorship by Dr. only.

Excellent care from Dr Le. He really cares about his patients. His office staff are very professional AND extremely friendly and helpful.

Dr. Le, the office staff, and medical assistant were professional and made my initial consultation with Dr. Le comfortable. Dr. Le was knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and assisted me in getting the testing necessary for preventative measures. I would highly recommend this office for any individual with GI concerns.

I had an appointment with Dr . Le , called and cancelled Was given an appointment for another date .When I showed up at office for new scheduled date was told I missed two Appointments by office personnel and had to pay $60 ..this was not true. Dr Le came out of his office in front of everyone and rudely proceeded to tell me he wanted to speak to my wife ( who had called to reschedule the appointment ) very unprofessional office and physician .

Always late.. never on time. And patient care is not a priority.. Bruce Le needs to go back to school to learn how to run a business. Poorly ran practice. Does not return calls to patients.. Only office visits....$$$$$$

For 2 years I struggled with GI Drs who couldn’t find the site of my intestinal bleeding, low hemoglobin, & weight loss with multiple colonoscopies and endoscopies with no result. I was recommended to see Dr Le, & with 1 simple stool test, he found the problem. I am now on his regiment, gained weight back and am being treated for Crohn’s disease. Thanks to Dr. Le I am feeling much better.

Dr Le, leans to the side of caution and checks out every possibility. Always pleasant and upbeat!
