Dr. Bruce Schlomer, MD

I had taken my son to see Dr Schlomer after an emergency surgery overseas. I was wanting to get a second opinion of the surgery and understand next steps. Dr. Schlomer seemed to be in a big hurry. If he had his way, the appointment would have lasted 3 mins. We had some questions so it stretched to maybe 6-7 minutes, interjected by 'is that all' from Dr. Schlomer after each question. He could see me and my wife were stressed by the experience especially not knowing what to expect next. That did not seem to affect him much. I found his mannerism and conduct to be disrespectful & uncaring, which is bad for any doctor, especially a children's doctor. Needless to say, this was our last visit to Dr Schlomer. There are better, and caring, doctors out there.

We met Dr Schlomer under terrible circumstances, and he literally helped save our sons life. After 5 long months, Dr Schlomer was able to surgically repair our son, and ultimately help our son reclaim his life’s dreams and pathways. Dr Schlomer was calming, reassuring, informative, candid and did as well as he any Dr could possibly do. Simply put, I 100% trust and recommend Dr Schlomer and I owe my sons life and the possibilities for his life to Dr Schlomer. He’s outstanding. He helped us turn a living nightmare into a story of miracles.

Very down to earth. He explains everything to your level. Even if you do not have a medical background, you will understand it. He treats you well and understand and reassure you all the time. He makes sure you leave with peace of mind. Very good urologist! Thank you for your help Dr. Schlomer!

Dr. Schlomer was very thorough in explaining to me what the surgery for my little guy would entail and was excellent in calming my fears about him going under anesthesia.
